I want to make a 50 ml base for an all-purpose balm. How should I distribute the ingredients, and can I replace the oils with jojoba, rosehip, and argan oil?
I have a question? After getting my creams PH to the level I want say 5.5 ph. And this was done with 1 gram cream to 9 grams of Distilled water. How do I Adjust a 1 pound of Cosmetic Cream ,I had to raise the ph up and I used 3 drops 0.05 ml ,Do I now multiply 0.05 ml per drop x (gram = 453.592 rounded up to 455 x 0.05 ml = 2.25 drops. I've been trying to find this out and haven't seen or heard how to do this. Question? can your Preservative change the ph ? Thank you for any info you can give.
Hi! thanks for sharing these amazing recipes! In the interest of using minimal ingredients, is is possible to only use jojoba oil (instead of prickly pear seed oil + jojoba oil) and only colloidal oat powder (instead of arrowroot powder + colloidal oat powder) in the oat and shea body fluff? Of course increasing the amounts to match the recipe of the two ingredients combined. Also, which vitamin E do you recommend using? (I don't understand the difference between products 113 and 135 on your website). For reference I'm interested to make this to treat my eczema/dry sensitive/red skin.
Ik heb het recept gemaakt volgens de verhoudingen maar het werd een dikke pasta, helemaal niet vloeibaar zoals bij jou. Aan wat kan dit liggen? Afmetingen waren tot op de gram juist.
I have a question? shouldn't you add a preservative in your citric acid solution? like since this would be extra water in your emulsified cream wouldn't that cause problems if you dont add a preservative to your citric acid/water solution?
You have to make a buffer of 50% citric acid and 50% distilled water. Thus you have a very acidic solution that does not allow the growth of microorganisms. And you use so little, 1-3 drops, that it does not affect the amount of water in the product.

Absolutely love it. Super recipe. The first time I prepared the recipe I did something wrong and it came out a little too hard. Second time is perfect. Love the smell. Made little testers for family. They love it as well. And it doesn't stain. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾
Dankjewel voor je lieve complimenten! Shea boter is een boter en Kokosolie is een olie, deze kun je daarom niet direct vervangen. Wel kun je bijvoorbeeld 30% Cacao boter en 30% Kokosolie gebruiken. Mogelijk wordt het eindresultaat hierdoor wel wat zachter. Je kunt dan experimenteren met de boter/olie ratio en meer Cacaoboter (of een andere harde boter) toevoegen.
