A legendary concert I've noticed so very late... How I wish I was there!!! Totally on another level!!! And thank everything for that!!! And understand the quality and brilliance of this session!!! What a set!!!
As an old git admirer gotta say times I'm reminded of Brian Bennet at his best , also the Apres vous breaks similar to Paul Hammond - atomic rooster.Lastly Paula - Strange Kind of Women she who hits as hard as yourself your words v gracious.
I am a drummer and drumming instructor. In my opinion, Ian Paice plays with such an appealing swing and bounce. Like Bonham, he was initially inspired by the jazz and swing drummers and then applied it to his hard rock playing. He plays with such a clean, crisp precision. His single and double stroke rolls are such a joy for me to hear! Even someone who knows absolutely nothing about Deep Purple has to hear and sense his remarkable technique. Anyway, like the sun, water, air, soil, and minerals, Ian's drumming is a "natural resource!"
Великолепен во всём! Просто гуру ритма, человек, живущий музыкой, а его игра на ударных - именно музыка, а не просто удары палочками по барабанам и тарелкам....
Ian paice your a superb drummer the heart of deep purple you will live on in rock because people like me appreciate what you ate so talented drummer and a nice guy you are amazing keeprocking Ian
When first heard Smoke on the Water, Demon's Eye, Fireball & Highway Star...my ears went WTF is that?! But being as I was <10y/o, had No idea what I was listening to! As I grew older, <14y/o, & understood his playing More, fell in Love w/his single/dbl stroke rolls...So Clean, Crisp & Precise! Salute to You, Chief! Will Always be My Inspiration!
Ian is one of the best drummers of all time. Unlike Neil Peart whose drum kit is 15 times larger than Ian’s and sound 15 times worse. Because Neil Peart is simply no good
