@@joestover2833 hey Joe. Thank you so much for showing interest in the mentor program. Real quick let’s connect over email. Mine is Jonathanportukalian@gmail.com. Put a quick description about what you have going on and I’ll respond. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hey, just curious we are required in Florida here and you got to put underground under the the shell of the fiberglass you got to put drain hose so you can pump the water out from underneath the shell of the pool because even when they're full they can pop out of the ground I was just wondering if they require that where you are play code
So industry standard is 2 inch, your standard is half inch. The question is what does the difference actually make in the outcome of the pool? Is it just craftsmanship?
I don’t know how city inspectors county or state let fiberglass pools installed. It should all be Shotcrete, if you put a fiberglass pull in your an idiot!
Wow! You do some beautiful work. I last saw a vinyl pool years ago. What I remember is that it looked "cheap." It looks like the vinyl pools have gotten better. Are the vinyl pools now just as professional looking as the gunite and fiberglass pools (assuming quality install)? Thanks! Again, beautiful job..
You fixed it, that's what matters. What would happen if you left it as is? If it wasn't going to effect the pool I'd say leave it. I don't sweat the little things. I'm pretty easy going! God bless.
I can tell by the way that guy uses that shovel he’s a newbie. Anyone who’s done labour work for a length of time learns to use a shovel more efficiently and accurately.
The world has been in this mess for a long time. I’ve really been enjoying the videos you post. The content is all real. I’m hoping the very best for your channel. Keep it up. I know it takes a lot of work but I’m sure y’all can do it. 👍
Those opening ceremonies were total garbage and men competing in women's sports, what a joke this world has become. Your videos are a nice break from the madness. Too bad you don't do pools here in Canada
We dug up an old park well a few years back that was over 4m deep and 10m wide, could easily park a massive car of truck in the hole. Crazy what you find on some properties
We just poured concrete that had the exact dimensions of the O.D of our fiberglass pool. Worked great and have had it for 12 years now. Neat thing is if it ever punctures or gets rotted or anything really all we need to do is take the fiberglass out and either get another one made or just simply put a liner over the concrete. But we chose to do the fiber glass route because the wife thought they felt better to walk around in and supposedly they stay cleaner but idk we've only ever had this pool.
Do you add chemicals 12-24 hours prior to turning off the filter or do you shut off the filter then add chemicals? If I allow the water with the chemicals to flow through the filter, am I losing chemicals since I will be emptying the water in the filter? I have 30,000-32,000 gallons of water. Is this enough chemicals to winterize, 4 gallons of liquid shock, 1 bottle of winter algaecide, 1 bottle of pool magic, 2 gallons rv anti freeze.
@@JJ-fg4wp we don’t put any chemicals in our pools before we close them, but you definitely can if you want to working with your local supplier getting your water tested, and all that, but if you are, yes, I would run it through the system and then shut it down
I’m 74 and still work construction everyday, I am a card carrying member of the school of hard knocks, if you don’t make mistakes you’re not working. My friend just put a pool in and it’s out of level a little, their digging right as you speak. Integrity is everything, and it ain’t messed if it can be fixed
Hey you don’t know shit from pool installation, looks like crap, I would not pay The foundation was never prepared the wright way Have no idea , how you dare put this for your reputation Not professional Home owner would problobly did a better job than you
You need an old fashion water hose level. Clear hose the best 35 ft. Long at least 1/2inch in diameter. 1/4 inch error at most. Through laser away. What happens when control lines not used.
Yeah, they’re absolutely wonderful for the first year or two then the excitement wears off and they become a massive hassle, especially if you have babies very small children running around. the nightmare of finding one floating truly keeps you up at night. cleaning, water filtration, chemicals. it’s easier to go to your local a few times a year
im sure youve heard it before but having a second Lazer is key there's no way lightning can strike twice and if there is a difference go old school with a 6ft level some Lazers have a gimbal locking mechanism that locks the gimbal its used for angle lines 45 digress or what ever it is some times you can forget to hit the lever to unlock it regardless you took responsibility and doing the repair if your word to finish a job correctly and you don't your company isn't worth shit so good on you for doing the right thing screw the cost in the long run it may make you money from this customer telling how a mistake was made but the company stands behind its work came back and fixed it at there expense there are so many companies out there that would of just blown the customer off and after getting sued goes belly up and reopen next week under a new name. it good to see good responsible companies out their everybody makes a mistake from time to to its how resolve them is what separates a good company from the bad fly by night companies I wish you the best of luck on your future projects
