Molyneaux’s choreography is no joke. Like so many dancers, I was raised on Comerford versions, but I’m teaching myself the Molyneaux steps inch by inch.

Thank you for the video and brilliantly articulated steps! We've managed to learn it from the performance even without a tutorial!

This is so impressive and it’s great to see they don’t let their age stop them

That man is a fantastic dancer for his age and the rocks were perfect. Well done both.

I see here some resemblance to the version of Humours of Bandon, Kieran Jordan once performed. May it be, these dances have the same authors? I'm talking about this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_PjEDQrYll0.html We've learned it last year. It would be great to proceed with the Three Sea Captains from Cork :)

Wow! I've known and danced another version of the 5th step, and here's a peculiar variation! Thank you!

Thank you for saving these dances. THIS is traditional Irish dancing to me. I never knew North Kerry was special. Grandparents from there. I learned dance in Tralee in 70's. Alot of group sets like "Sweets of May", "Haymakers"etc. I HATE what Irish dance has become because of Riverdance. They should distinguish that as modern innovation and not traditional.

Is this a hornpipe ? I grew up in Tralee in the 70's. Took classes then. Grandparents from North Kerry. I have so many of their ceili record albums from the 60s. Never knew traditional dancing from there was its own thing. No wonder I hate all the ballet moves-stand on point in hard shoes-leaps in the air of what I call "Riverdance choreography" nowadays.
