I live a small town in South Carolina, closest hobby shop is an hour away and they carry mainly the expensive stuff. Nothing wrong with the expensive stuff but right now I just want to explore the hobby with less money input.
I plan to focus mainly on RCs that you can order on Amazon and Ebay.
Most annoying thing to me is that the steering servo is in the way for the suspension to work properly. In the back it works flawless except that the stock suspension is way to springy and bouncy. If you came up with something new or better please let me know!
Thanks for the video. Very informative. I just got one of these Nuofan stands and am really impressed with the product for such a low cost. Mine came without instructions, and I was pretty sure I had it figured out, but your video affirmed my ideas and added a couple of useful tips on the use of the foam pads. Well done and thanks for the help!
You could get a new stock one, bore a 1mm hole down the centre of the hole into the arm, then drive a m1.2 screw down the hole so it reinforces the link from the inside👌that's if you are keeping the original servo..... if not then you should just use the arms that come with your replacement servo.
I really like the redspyder ones over the actual Kyosho I do realize the front steering servos are actually multiple different ones my friends have one and there all different so I guess you just get lucky with a powerful servo 😂
@@SanteeRC Ya I m all over the place with the addition and harvest time.. I can just call ya if you want.. Not sure what you got going on or I can join a live chat doesn't matter to much I just don't like applications on my phone to much.. They are tracking devices plan and simple most software companies make there money off our data not the software itself. We used to do it at Xerox all the time built into the machine you would never know what we collected..
I just wanted to try one and it was only $17 buck when I ordered it. It was fun and it did work but i don't see a future with me. Thanks for watching 👍
I think I would go with this one. Most of the parts I have replaced (servo, steering part, rims and tires) are all thing most people say you need to upgrade on a real scx24. But I started with a $75 truck and not the $125 truck. Plus it has been a lot of fun and I have learned how these things are built.
Sorry they never replied. 30 bucks would be a great price for one you want to rebuild anyway. That 160 price is GREAT for those two. Where they on Facebook as well?
The steering issue was my fault. I forgot to adjust the steering and I had been previously running my 124019 before this one and it is setup to run straight. I love that stretch of road. I just wish it was a bit wider. Thanks for stopping by. 👍
I was sweeting it at first but it was just the lower arm pin. Those WLToys buggies are quick for the money and this is the first brushless on they made that run good and smooth.
mmmh ! Very nice look, but how a bad low speed modulation ! Doesn't it make the drive unpleasant ? For this reason, i'd choose the more expensive Kyosho genuine Mini Z.
It is pretty bad at low speed modulization. You have to have a steady trigger finger. It look great but I think a real mini-z would have a superior motor, steering, and modulization. BASICLY I agree with you 100%.
Orange so cool, a good choice over the FMS FCX24. The body mounts still a bit of a pain but better them mine, the TRX4m clips are perfect and love it for that reason. The portals and 2 speed makes it so good. Happy Birthday 🙂
It really stood out to me. Plus I have nothing Orange yet. I have the clips figured out now. They work great so for. I plan to go out to the course later today to try it out. Thanks.
Nice. My daughter order me rims for my scx24 for my birthday but I still need to order some real tires. I will start looking at the FMS rings because I do like the rims it came with.
Removing that extra high weight really makes a difference. Plus it only cost me an $85 buggy and not a $100+ buggy to find out. Thanks for checking it out
