I admire PPMD’s accomplishment at apex 2015 more so than at apex 2014, because he faced more troubles, had less energy, and yet somehow overcame it. You’ll never see another player overcoming a bad mental state in the same fashion, and if you look at footage of both tournaments you’ll notice a key difference. Where 2014 apex pp was quick, volatile and ferocious, 2015 apex pp was patient, steady, and impenetrable. He didn’t try to push himself too hard, but did as well as he could with his abilities, not only winning the tournament but also taking it from one of melee’s toughest competitors of all time, who did not bend or break in nearly the same way as did mew2king back in 2014.
Looked down at the views after finishing the video, expecting something like 100-200k views and was surprised by its actual amount (around 7k at the time of this comment). This kind of content deserves a lot more exposition than it currently gets. Well done.
."...Legendary Smash Commentator HMW gave his insight on PPMD's breakout performance: 'PP's like AY MANG0 take notes nigga!'" hahahahahahahaha im fucking dead
At around 3:25 I say that PPMD is the only one to beat M2K in the marth ditto in modern times. PewPewU actually beat him at SSC 2016 in the ditto, so that's not exactly accurate. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_AWOu8Xqa5E.html My B. p.s.
