Welcome to my channel! Over the past few years I have been creating digital art with a main focus on 3D environments. I'm using this channel to share ideas and workflows that I use in the hopes of teaching others how to make incredible art!
hai, sorry i wanna ask about how to search in blender (searching where you wanna go/ go to) already install GIS but no pop up about search bar. Can you help me? thankyou
Feel like you really shot past the importing of the masks there for the texture. That seems key but I can't even see what nodes you load. Any chance you could linger on the intermediary steps so we can at least get the data from your screen?
great tutorial mate !!! 🔥 i wonder if "photorealistic" landscapes & assets that everyone use to make films/animations...etc especially the way you made it are good for game dev or not like if its gonna kill the FPS in game or it'll just work fine without performance issues ?
When theres alot of steps and you don't know what they are, I can't understand that. Find something that can understand. That needs years of schooling to understand.
Hey im pretty new to unreal (but 4 years of unity and have 10 years of programming experience), I love this video but I think alot of people could profit from an in depth tutorial because it would be a good starting point. Would love to use this in game dev. I think a "Create a photorealistic game mountain landscape in UE5" would do well since alot of people using the unreal engine want to make games or videos. Still a great video i really enjoyed watching it and it has a super great result! Still I'll try to replicate what you have done, but from my experience with unreal you can run into different problems with different tools at any point and it can cost hours of research (which is not lost knowledge but still a full tutorial would be great) :)
I just began my UE journey last week and oh boy I can't thank you enough for your work. This is exactly what I needed to keep going ! Keep up the good work mate and cheers from France !
when I first saw the movie The Good Dinosaur , I was very impressed by the natural scenes and from then I started learning Blender and 3d stuffs. My dreams was to create similar environment like the movies and damn this is the most similar to that one. Waw!! this is awesome you have created a very beautiful landscape and you are very skilled.
Why for me everything mostly is below this grid in UE? If i move the landscape up - it goes above the grid but than all is covered in snow due to auto-material ..... if i move it below look great, but can't test it with the "play model". Is there a way to allign all this somewhere?
Make sure to add lots of subdivisions in Blender to give it detail. Also you can lock your Blender viewport using L and with your mouse wheel scroll up to increase the resolution of the terrain texture.
@@gabetandy Ive got a lot of subdivisions yet it still looks like 'play-doh', and using L comes up with a "select linked" for me when in edit mode, and nothing when in object mode
@@gabetandy I have fixed this, however i have a new issue. When you imported your trees, how do you fix the leaves disappearing when the camera moves further away?
Nice job, although I have a question. Is your gaea terrain 1k or higher? I want to create a terrain for blender but its just seems that mine is too low.
So... all this for just one shot? It's just "fake". What you see is not a fully playable area. Why even bother with Unreal Engine? You might as well have made the whole thing in Blender.
Thank you very much for showing. I Only have the Unreal Engine 5 and starter packs, so thank you for making it easy to follow. I only had 2-3 hours with the engine before watching your video, but I was able to follow your video and make something to show for it. I did however watch it several times, to try and copy some of the effects. Thank you once again.
