He isn't playing! The song Midnight Walker was originally done by Davy Spillane and Jeff Beck is doing his own version of the song! There is someone playing the bass violin and that can clearly be heard in this version.
I've lost count of how many times I've seen Larry play; always at smaller venues, where you can watch him constantly smile. Certainly one of the best blues guitarists in the world. Larry is also just a thoroughly nice man to be with, he has time to chat with anyone. It's been a long time since I found any news of him after his stroke. I hope you are well Larry and perhaps I'll be blessed to see you play again one day.
Thank you. I have recently returned from Tanzania. They have pied crows which are the same as ours BUT they have a white breast and white across their shoulders.....beautiful.
Liebe P.P.Arnold seit 1967 als ich sie mit dem Song Groovy im Deutschen TV sah kann ich ihre Stimme nie mehr vergessen und freue mich bis heute über dieses Lied , mögen Sie noch lange Musik machen !
He's not Gary Moore, but still an accomplished guitarist. Clapton isn't Gary, who isn't Hendrix, who isn't Gilmour, who isn't Rory Gallagher, the list goes on. It is ridiculous to make such comparisons, they are/were great musicians in their own right and style. It is ridiculous to make such a comment, simply shows the churlishness of your mind.
From my small cell phone screen it looks like the crow has a fish... drops it and starts hunting for another one!?! Did the crow get more than one fish?
I am enjoying watching my videos. I was actually falling asleep at the gig. It was a long day and I was very tired by the evening. Mr Beck is definitely something special .
I wish I knew! I don't know any of the titles that were played last night so I have described my vids as 1,2,3,4,5,6, etc at the moment until I find the titles out.
This is a song by Davey Spillane (originally played on the ulienne pipes) called "Midnight Walker" . Jeff plays a short version hear and does a damn good job of mimicking the sound and the expression.
