It's quite ironic but also sad that Wally couldn't follow the advice he himself gave to Anne about not caring what the others think of you. As for the second part of the episode - the series' creator Matt Braly also worked on "Gravity Falls" so here we have an entire episode filled with references to the previous show
The curator is uncle Stan from gravity Falls he’s a trickster. The skip man is a CD player. It does not record, but you can just listen to music that’s already on the disc
In this episode, Wally apparently a rich boy who love the countryside and we got cameo not just from Kermit the Frog but also the creator of Gravity Falls: Alex Hirsch. By the way dude, Gravtiy Falls is still a big deal after a decade it was air. Really should check it after Amphibia
I'm honestly team Jean-Luc, because of how him and Bluey met. Their story of meeting at a camp and language wasn't a barrier that they got along well. The one-sided goodbye, because of Bluey's innocence really hit hard, but the final scene where they reunited once more was just beautiful. It was just like a fairytale like how Bandit and Chili met in the episode, you guessed it, "fairytale". Although the kid has purple fur like Jean-Luc, it's just hard to argue with because, the kid really resembles Mackenzie. They also got along during the episode "barky boats" and the hug awww... Childhood friends to lovers is also sweet though... That's basically why the community was torn when the episode came out hehe
Bandit was saying he’s got some football finals to watch that afternoon. Football not necessarily being soccer but more like rugby or a similar sport with the AFL (Australia Football League) with Queensland having the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast Suns for their teams for the nationwide league. Yep, chunder = vomit, as in the action of doing so. Solar = Solar power, some Aussies have panels on their rooftops for solar power instead of electricity, so basically the wolf was trying to be a door to door Electricity provider but was caught out because people with solar wouldn’t care about getting cheaper electricity power.
Surprise was absolutely the perfect way to end such an amazing season. theres a channel named Pugly that makes videos analysing different aspects of the show and he had theorized that, going by some other episodes of the show and now the sweet speech Bandit says to Fernuken here, perhaps that is meant to parallel either Bluey or Bingo being neurodivergent and that being a conversation Bandit might have actually had with them before. i personally love that theory and it makes it so much sweeter how it genuinely impacted Bluey as she was listening behind the tree. also i love how this also shows once more how Bluey is growing up. the moment Fernuken's head fell off if this was season 1 Bluey would have probably pretended it was part of the game and things would have gotten chaotic for Bandit again, but here she understands that he's tired so for her sister and him she just pretends it didnt happen. its a small detail but i love it so much also seeing her all grown up at the end and with a child of her own, as well as seeing Bingo in one of the pictures of the smartframe wrecked me SO hard the first time again TwT also out of this first set of minisodes id not really know which one is my favorite. all of these are just so wholesome and fun, i think Burger Dog made me laugh the hardest tho bc of Chili's line delivery at the end while not breaking eye contact with Bandit >u< also i love we get to see once more in Letter Bandit's drawings ^u^
I think that the scenes of Bandit answering the door with a child hiding (either Bluey or her pup in the future flash-forward at the end) are a nice nod and callback all the way back to the very beginning of the series, if you think about it. We had something similar in the 2017 pilot (which was later edited and improved to become the episode The Weekend) with the game of Magical Statue when Bluey and Bingo were ringing the doorbell and then hiding from Bandit.
Probably the final soundtrack drop! The song at the end is called Lazurus Drug, created by Meg Washington. (V.A. of Calypso). Original full song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ngwtA3WRK8.htmlsi=lksmNABwzQRzbRi Episode mix I made: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7fopoom2jwE.htmlsi=V65H6whnFsgagS7T I would have to ask. Would you be an epic gamer reactor and react to the new Rug Island Album coming out on the 25th?
First of all, happy birthsday!🎂 It's quite interesting that Sasha is now more enthusiastic about bringing the toads back to power in the valley than Grime, who is mostly apathetic. It seems like she just doesn't know what to do after all that happened atop the Toad Tower and that's why she clings to Grime's old ideas. Oh, and General Yunan, Scourge of the Sand Wars, Defeater of Ragnar the Wretched, and the youngest newt to ever achieve the rank of general in the great Newtopian Army is a nice addition to the supporting cast.
The DJ at the wedding, his name is Busker he was voiced by Joff Bush. He composes the music for Bluey. He also appeared in the episode dance mode. And the sign did make me cry. It made me tear up more than any other bluey episode. Yeah that ending really got me to cry a lot.
Real world Olms are kinda like the european version of axolotl, in that they're both cave-dwelling, aquatic salamanders, but they are not closely related biologically!
At the wedding reception, the men dancing like eagles references a bit of an Aussie tradition. I don’t know how or why it started, but dancing to Eagle Rock with pants down to the ankles and flapping arms is a thing guys do at wedding receptions. Another tradition is dancing to Nutbush City Limits doing the Nutbush (and it’s pretty much an unspoken rite of passage for Aussies to learn the dance around Grade Five so even kids would join in) which is a dance similar to The Maddison.
we're here finally, The Sign. i cant even begin to explain how much i love this episode. aside from the callbacks you noticed there are many others that are either little continuity nods, like Bingo playing with her fingers in the car near the beginning of the episode, or Bucky being the one selling their house after Bandit mentioning him being an state agent back in Dragon, or Bandit's dad being mentioned to have been in India (since many episodes aho cant remember which one exactly but in the fridge theres a postcard from India), or bigger ones with strong impact to the story, like Winton's dad having a pool as he mentioned back in Helicopter. also the amount of symbolism in certain scenes, like Greenie still floating around right after we got an scene with Blue comforting her little sister (considering the lesson learned in Mom School being reflected here through Greenie), or the shot of Chili sad in the kitchen near the end being a parallel to Baby Race when Bluey walked for the first time, or one of my favorites that is the framing of the scene of Bandit throwing away the sign as its a parallel to Stickbird when he gathered all that was bothering him to throw it away also the way the episode handles Bandit and Chili is a huge highlight also, we can tell from the beginning Chili is also greatlt affected but trying her hardest to keep it together for her daughters, and Bandit also shows a lot of subtle uncertainty as all he wants is giving her family the best life he can. having both of them at the end showing the strongest emotions the most, Bandit being visibly enraged towards the sign and Chili sobbing while hugging him after, that has to be one of the most powerful scenes ive watched in any show. the first time i was watching this episode i was genuinely struggling to finish watching it bc my eyesight was getting too blurry from the crying TwT so yeah, this episode is undoubtedly a masterpiece, personally my favorite episode from any show ive ever watched ^u^ im so happy you enjoyed it, now theres only 1 episode left and then the minisodes (that i think very soon they will be releasing more minisodes in Australia iirc)
Oh so he is the Bucky!!! Omg I just realized that now, the throwing away whats bothering you. That makes it more emotional for me too! I knew it youre one of those who cried haha that scene really was a wow for me too This is I think my top 1 from all episodes too cause how can I say no to a 29 minute bluey episode haha 😂
Yup, it's nice to see the results of Anne's growth even when she is just a supporting character. And the pop-up books in Amphibia are surprisingly dark but on the other hand they are very suitable for such a dangerous world
Not a spoiler, but something cool to note: Episodes: Double Babysitter, Baby Race, TV Shops, Stick Bird, Slide, and of course Ghost Basket all have details that tease towards the next bug episode your about to watch.
Last year, ABC had a top 100 episode poll. People expected episodes like Sleepytime and Baby Race to be number one. They were in the top episodes. Cricket wound up being the top episode. It was also celebrated by an extended version of the opening theme song. Ghostbasket is a hefty one for me. A couple of years ago, my dad had to move out of the house I was basically raised in for over thirty years since the landlord is selling it. Then, my grandfather not only had to leave his house to go into full time care due to a dementia diagnosis, the house had to be sold for that to happen. Pa recently found out that it’s being sold and he was so upset (he wasn’t able to authorise it, my dad and his cousin have power of attorney regarding Pa’s care) because he had hoped to go back home one day. I recently saw both of those houses on For Sale listings on the internet and oof, I got emotional seeing the bare bones of the empty houses. Speaking of housing listings, in order to promote the next episode, after Ghostbasket finished, they actually put the Heeler house on the real Domain real estate website with a number to call. A certain real estate agent’s voice can be heard.
That is Rusty in the future. I’m not sure if you got it, but he got the score he wanted, showed the adults couldn’t beat him, and deliberately hit the ball so his sister would catch it so she would feel good.
we're _ALMOST_ over with the series now. prepare yourself bc next video is going to be an intense one ^u^ Slide iirc was originally meant to be part of season 2, yet it ended up being here near the end of season 3, also it has a pretty subtle theme around luck, going by how many times the word is used throughout the episode Cricket is pretty much a fan favorite of the show, even competing against Sleepytime for some fans for the title of best episode (that's before episode 49 premiered ofc) a detail i love so much is how we can see Rusty teaching his sister how to catch a ball near the beginning, but in the specific way he planned to make her the pass. in retrospect it makes a LOT of sense how it was so easy for him to help Jack right after meeting him in Army, he's a really good brother also Ghostbasket is a really bittersweet one, especially taking into consideration we have known since season 1 Bluey often deals with situations that stress her out or make her feel bad through recreating them in a game, and Bandit's lines imply this isnt the first time they are playing this, so we can draw some conclusions on how Bluey actually feels about the house really being for sale that way also if i could recommend another series for the poll id highly recommend Centaurworld, its a short series (only 18 episodes between the 10 in season 1 and 8 in season 2) and it's pretty much a mix of silly and fantastic creatures in a pastel color world with a really dark lore and a lot of heavy subjects (also its a musical, so every episode has at least a couple songs or reprises to previous ones). its a really underrated show but a pretty good watch, i'd 100% recommend it ^u^
we're finally here, one of the episodes that always hit me the hardest, Dragon, both in the artistic front of things as well as the situation regarding Chili's mom. up to this point she hasn't been brought up at all, i think we just saw her once in a family photo in the background, so i think its safe to assume Chili had not been able to fully move on from her passing until _now._ a kinda easy to miss detail is that her horse during the story is meant to represent her mom, so in that final scene when she takes a moment to thank her one final time is her finally being able to move on after almost a full decade since her death (considering Bluey is 7 and she has never meant Chili's mom. some people even theorize it was the shock of her passing what caused Chili's miscarriage) also having this context now episodes like Sleepytime and Grandad become a lot more impactful. this is one of those episodes which consistently always breaks me while rewatching TwT also TV Shop is such a fun episode to revisit, another one of those where the takeaway is to not forget about your inner child and allow yourself to goof around every once in a while, always love those sort of heartwarming episodes ^u^ (also yes Winton's dad is flirting with the Terrier's mom. i mean he did mention back in Helicopter (another fun episode to revisit) that his parents dont live together anymore, which would also explain the scratched silhouette in the stickers at the back of one of the cars)
Wow that is a great aha moment for me just now about the horse of Chilli, so thats what the letting go moment was abouttt!! Thank you for pointing that out, I missed a lot in that episode, I definitely have to rewatch it again 😭😭
Yup, Hop Pop definitely should buy Sprig a new fiddle. And Anne's skill at hunting giant imaginary fried chickens is pure perfection😄. Also, it's quite funny that the illusory Sprig is no less musically talented than the real one.
They first aired Dragon in Australia on Mother’s Day last year. I had just gotten back from visiting my mum’s grave so the reveal that Mrs. Cattle had passed away hit hard. Go back to TV Shop and observe the different cars. You’ll be able to tell whose is whose from the license plates and stickers. The Heelers have the colour code number for blue, Bella’s says “too many kids”, Cornelius’ car not only shows the sticker with the woman scratched out, his license plate references one of his first lines said all the way back in Markets. Finally, the Terrier family car shows the mum and three kids.
The way each character draw is represented by their art skills. And you didn’t pick up on the whole thing about chili mum dying. Some theories say that she passed away before chili had Bluey. Bucky Dunstan remember his name it will come up later no spoilers.
After our heroes leave the Valley the plot will move forward much, much faster. It's interesting that both Anne and Hop Pop were a little, ahem, overprotective of their frog family in this episode. It seems the girl learned her lesson from the "Contagi-Anne" episode very well. You may also notice something during Anne's battle against the vege-monster... Oh, and don't worry too much about Wartwood's townsfolk, we'll meet some of them again during this road adventure.
There's actually a new intro but at the same time not really because they just added a new fight animation scene with Marcy in the background in the intro :D
@someperson4712 what are you talking about? of course these episodes are connected, that's been comfirmed since day one they aired I'm really not in the mood for your stupid We weren't able to add your reply. Please try again. errors today youtube
