So I'm trying to reset for a shiny Alpha Mamoswine but it's always the same gender and nature per reset. I cleared a MMO before and saved right where it spawns so what gives? I even resetted for the shiny Alpha Gardevoir in the same MMO and it worked so why wont Mamoswine?
I know this mostly for alphas but I'm using it on the Scyther pack right now. I just really want to make some more progress on my Shiny Living Dex, it's been a while since I have found anything new
@SBCoop that's unfortunate. I'm going to be honest and say I am a little confused on what determines if one can or can't be hunted this way. On the bright side, I did get a shiny Combee while soft resetting in the area so it wasn't a total loss
@@ShadowChaosKrystal outside of the static alpha Pokemon it is unfortunately confusing. We were unable to really find a pattern that explained what did and didn’t work
You know what’s also pathetic? Giving up your own shiny because you feel bad for someone who’s hunting it. Let people do their own hunts. If he wanted to trade for shinies, he wouldn’t have started hunting Regidrago in the first place
Such a difficult and time consuming hunt... what is your strategy for berry tree and time distortion exclusives? I am literally an alpha cherrim away from a full alpha dex
Unfortunately there is no good way to do those. The space time distortions are going to be almost impossible hunts. For Cherrim there are designated trees for them so you can just check those and reset the area fairly quickly
found a shiny Kirlia just now while watching 😂 60 KO outbreak boosted, no charm/ sandwich so 1/1365 (edit) just realized it’s female and i’m going for Gallade 🙊🙊
It's simply impossible for Rhyperior to appear, he always appears first for everyone, I'm already on 400 attempts, I have his shiny charm and perfect pokedex entry@@SBCoop
This was figured out a while back. I saw a video on it over a month ago, but the truth is in MOST areas counting every single pokemon on screen before refreshing takes longer than visually confirming them as you drive by. This is great wherever it works though!

i tried this with a minior outbreak but a granbull spawned in as well and i counted 15 minior and 1 granbull in total, but no shiny whatsoever. so im guessing this doesnt work when there are multiple species?
This is really just the same method we had, just more standing still. The downside is that you have to be in an area where all those pokemon can spawn. Some areas don't have enough space to spawn 15.
I’ve been shiny hunting Alpha Gardevoir for about 13 hours now and still haven’t gotten it, even with its dex entry perfected. Does using the switch user button on the switch menu stop the method from working? I’m pretty it doesn’t because the gardevoir has been changing genders.
The crazy thing is that when you look at the models it is a crazy big difference. When you look at it ingame in AreaZero with that painful harsh lighting... Then all you just see is glimmer and none of the gold. 😂
Can I run back and forth/despawn and respawn wild area pokemon? I’m trying to find a shiny drifloon but unsure if I could just constantly go back and forth respawning him.
Yep! Any of the strong spawns you can just get them to despawn and respawn and it’s a totally new encounter, I’ll post another short showing it as I’ve done it a couple times now
