Unfortunately, I wasn’t a hired Videographer, I was just a friend grabbing some last minute b-roll for them. If it was legit, or pre-meditated, they absolutely would have been mic’d up!
My only complaint is the screen. I love this camera otherwise. It’s the one that’s making me money these days.. well I have the one and using the mark II now
Nice Job! You won a new subscriber! I’ve been in Japan exactly a year ago. I can see on your photos that we have similar point of view! I used the xpro 2 with a 23mm, but definitely I needed a smaller one, my doubt about ricoh’s is 28 or 40…. Thanks! And nice work
I love your photos and style, really great work. I just got one of these in the last few months. And I'm absolutely loving it. I used a 350D as my first camera around the time this was released so it's nice to have the pro camera that I lusted over back in 2005. The images are absolutely gorgeous out of this camera, and even the noise has a pleasing aesthetic. My main gripe is with the focusing system, as it is a bit hit and miss. But despite this I find that I can't stop shooting with this thing. I reckon I have 5000 shots through it already, and here's hoping it'll shoot many more!
Great video and perspective! I’m prepping for a Japan trip and know for sure I’m packing both the Ricoh GRIII & GRIIIX but still on the fence if I also need to pack a Fuji and a zoom or two. I think your video has persuaded me that I’ll be quite ok with packing light and ditching the bigger kit
Love taking my 5d out even though I have a newer nikon, just Love the files that come out of the canon and the colours! Just something less clinical as you say and they have more emotion in them especially portraits Good video cheers 👍🏻
Great little camera, great photos. Have you once considered the griii? A small camera really sounds apealing to me but i cannot make-up my mind with griii or griiix😂 both great focal lengths
In terms of focal length, my preference was clear, so it was a no-brainer for me! If you have a way to spend some more time with each focal length, I’m sure you’ll eventually end up preferring one over the other. If not, just buy both! 😂
I've made 16x20 prints from a 5 megapixel Olympis E20N back in the day, so 12 megapixels is more than enough. I'd buy a new Mark I if they made them today. Thanks for posting!!
Hello bro! I'm thinking about buying one of those two lenses. I have a Sony a6500(apsc), which do you think is more necessary to record weddings? The wide zoom, or the tele zoom?
Really nice video. I’m visiting Bella coola in two weeks. Thinking of going to Bella Bella, while I’m there. then I noticed the shearwater is close by. you are being experienced, would you recommend Bella Bella or shearwater to enjoy nature and possibly spot a Spirit bear?!
My whole family loved this. What a relaxing video. The Jazz, the soft spoken chilcotin drawl of the narrator, the rolling waves of the ocean.. It's really all here
