Just spent half an hour looking for this track. Yeah it's jarring at first, but damn those crunchy harmonies grow on you. It's bold to say the least, so dissonant yet so beautiful. I'm in awe.
Wonderful Game! The tactical aspect of combat was top notch and the story compelling. To be honest I found this, their first game, to be the better of the two. The music well fits the various scenes.
"The simple truth behind our reality is the fact that time seems to endlessly repeat itself. An unfortunate truth bestowed upon those who drove too far into the secrets of the universe. The eyeification is only a failsafe - not this so-called truth."
I say this with pure love, I cannot listen to this song without crying my soul out. It touches me so dearly and fills me with incredible hope for my life. I'm crying as I write this, and I will forever be thankful that this song and this game exist. If anyone reads this, you are so loved, you are not alone in this world, and holy fuck believe me there is hope. It might be painful as hell getting to it, but there is hope. I love you. thank you for being alive and existing.
Rhe organ at the Unseen University has the following registers - Vox Dei, Vox Huamana, Vox Diabolical and a few others with scratched off signs... I think I found the missing one - Vox Machina.
well when you listen this song after play this game, or whatever you watch streaming, absolutely perfect song for describe that scene..... great song. it always feels me in that game.
"I am finished with your nonsense. You've killed everyone.. All of the kings, all 5 of them, are gone because of you. All I wanted was some land to occupy.. to grow in.. ..and you couldn't even let me have that. If you can't let me have that, then I can't let you live. Goodbye."
This game was an experience alright. The pixel art and art direction are just outstanding, the atmosphere thight, incredibly immersive soundtrack and an intriguing plot. Which has... Questionable writing and endings that could been better. But overall, its very good attempt for an alternative take on FTL-esque gameplay.
Listening to this song while driving across the Nevada desert is so awesome and relaxing while seeing the night sky light up with stars and feeling the wind breeze against the face.
