Thank you so much sharing your critters and taking your time to share your knowledge. I truly love watching and learning about newts I’ve always found them interesting and kept a few when I was younger and hopefully one day keep some again now that my knowledge and experience is better. Well keep up the great work and keep at it one day you’ll definitely have thousands of subs and finally make some money. I have small channel and definitely wish they would give everyone a chance to make something because it would definitely help us smaller channels. Well stay awesome bud and have great day I wish you all the best 🙋♂️✌️
A friend of mine keeps poison dart frogs. The frogs absolutely fascinate me. It isn't just the frogs that captivate me. The eco system itself that his tanks, as a whole fascinates me. I've wrestled with the idea of having my own tank. After watching lots of videos & reading literature on Newts. I have decided I want to keep Newts in captivity. Can you help me to source a pair of great crested Newts please.....
Any advice on bringing juveniles into mating season I’ve had no luck they would rather spend time on land have changed the temp of the water have changed the lighting conditions to meet spring sunrise an sunsets I have 4 captive bred great crested newts 1 male 3 females raised from larvae stages I had some luck last year but this year they would rather spend there time out of water
Great video! Does anyone know :you reintroduce home bred Newts into the wild ?? And if so, would a pond / spring on a chalk base (trace eluents filter through).be harmful or not good habitat.? (I'm guilty of catching so many of these as a kid in the 60's, I need to put some back -trying to find out how to. Many thanks
I wish these guys were available in the US. Closest we got are albino bullfrogs, and I haven’t seen one available in years Hoping to find a wild albino frog some time this year and breed it
Another way to catch earth worms is to mark a square on an area of grass, then shower that area with soapy water ie fairy liquid. This will make the worms come to the surface for capture. Pop them in some fresh water to clean then them and voilà. Don't forget to put plenty of fresh water on the grass that you soaked to completely dilute and rinse any soap. I was taught this in biology class at school man many moons ago.
