Bro you just saved the biggest bill. I was on the verge of calling a tow truck. Virtual beers on me, thank you for taking the time to upload the video.
For anyone trying to track down a problem, try this first- I bought an Aveo that was going into limp mode. Previous owner replaced many parts. I bought it and had it fixed in 5 minutes by duct taping the airbox- they tend to break at the bolts. As soon as I sealed it with duct tape the problem went away.
My 92 civic has the motor from a 2000 crv I’m not familiar with these motors I seen this wire ripped off and thought nothing of it because this car had a bunch of unconnected wires but it looks like I found my problem 😂
The valve cover ground is only good for like if you need to grab anywhere in the back of the car for ground..the transmission ground is good enough for anywhere near for battery ground
What are those two wores called? I seethe temp one but im looking at the smaller one next to it and mines is broken but just cant figure the right name for it
Can you tell me why my accord isn’t starting ,replace fuel pump ,temperature gauge ,the main relay wasn’t working so we hooked a flip switch to it and fuel pump turns on, but the car won’t turn on now , crank no start please someone help me is it the starter module?
Its a torx and you should replace it when it gets screwed up. Keep a spare and replace and reorder when changing. Should be changing them a lot anyways. This car is full of them especially on things you should replace when you touch.
No , it prob a fuel pump or a cam sensor. Best way to rule out fuel problem on any car they crank no start is to spray some starting fluid in throttle body .
I think bad catalic converter unplug your oxygen sensor top one when u pop ur hood open and I mean like unscrew it so the motor can breath threw it and drive it with oxygen señsor off. If it goes pass 20mph ur problem is clogged catalic converter meaning u either have a choice of replacing it for new one or just go straight pipe. Choice is yours
Mine has lower power 09 aveo changed coil and plugs has p0301 code did have p0420 code but it cleared when i fixed air intake hose so now just the misfirenon cyl 1 and it has no power most of the time when I hit the gad at idle it semanhalf decent but sometimes full throttle it will sound like it is cutting out with the pedal to the floor what you think 02 sensor converter whatcha think ? @rambor329
U sure u changed the coil? Cause if ur having a missfire that usually comes from the spark plugs and coils but u said u changed them so could be the wiring from them if not check the bottom wires from the oxygen sensor sometimes electrical wiring that rips causes those issues. Also just make sure u cleaned ur throttle body plate.
@@rambor329 I did clean the throttle body plate other day with the crc cleaner. And yea changed the coils on 2009 aveo it's a coil that's all on a rail together with an electrical connector so I couldnt switch them around to test either.
Need help my gear shifter is going back and forth when I mash in the clutch. I have replaced all motor Mount try to fix it and it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you 🙏 you ✅you were absolutely right about the ground wire from transmission to chassis, my ground was going to the wrong part of the car, someone ground it to transmission to the bracket that held the oem intake box , when I watched your video I already bought a brand new battery and starter installed it and nothing same no crank issue but when I simply cleaned and replaced the bolts and ground wire with shiny new ones and the ground wire now in the right place the car starts with no issue , thanks again I was one of those ppl that over looked the simple things and went right in to buying parts I didn’t need , I’m gonna return the new stuff and put the old stuff back except the ground wire which was my issue
hello, pls i have 2010 chevy aveo and doesn't pull, the thrott le has been been changed and when being programmed to the ecu, it couldn't detect it, any possible solution to this issue please?
My starter solenoid ground was the issue. It was so loose you could literally blow air out your mouth and that connector would just come apart so easily. You're that nigga for sure. I changed my thermostat housing which I thought was the problem but once I replaced it I still had issues but that starter solenoid ground was the issue for sure. Ever since I replaced the solenoid ground I've had no issues with starting my car. Thank you my brother
I did for years. Oem seals last longer then the aftermarket one that comes with the filter. So I just want until I see a leak then replace. (Now this is my car) customer cars I always replace that seal.
Wonder if this is my issue. I thought it was my thermostat housing ground because anytime I moved it it turned on no problem but these past 2 days have the car has been acting up not turning on literally tight after turning it off and driving it. Replaced the battery re grounded all my wires and nothing. Imma check that little piece u mentioned at the beginning tomorrow to see if that fixes my problem.
Have 05 Chevy Aveo reads codes po 300 and po 455 not always but random. We have already changed the catalytic converter, heads and gaskets, valves, spark plugs and wire, coil pack, battery, canister vent valve, purge valve, water pump, timing belt kit, gas cap, and oil pressure sensor. Even cleaned iac valve! It’s still once in while bad miss and misfire as well and throwing the codes once in a while! Any idea where to look next?
ı have aveo t250 as you have. i have engine check lamp problem. service said that is o2 sensör problem. fuel average, idle performans is normal. but acceralation and running with a/c are bad the car is drowning on hile. i changed first 02 sensör but the problem does not change. so what can ı do?
If your positive it's says a o2 issue you have to check what "bank" it's calling for bank 1 or bank 2 it may even say upstream or down stream. That will tell you if you changed the correct sensor. Next set could be a bad cat convertor.
@@rkzperformance8973 i did not ask what was it but now i think it may be second one according to service paper. it is not about convertor because we pass easily from TÜV(car test). exhaust emission values is ok. fuel average is ok. no problem. just i have bad accelaration , a/c performans. and on hile it is drowning. it cant breath.
I did it like you and it leaked oil slowly all over my car and smoked. You didn't show us where the gasket that comes where the filter goes on this. My gasket was the cause but had no idea where it went like a normal car oil change.
@@rkzperformance8973 Thanks. An o ring is also a gasket. No biggie though. But yeah for some reason mine must have cracked or came off or something because after a month of leaking my trusted auto shop said it was just the gasket that had caused the leaking. So luckily I didn't get jipped. I was hoping you'd show that part because I have no idea where it goes since I haven't checked since they fixed it. In a normal car its obvious. Thanks for explaining though. Makes me think if any oil shop ever replaced it until I changed it myself.
