just on a random question i am running into a little problem where im not getting enough fire wood stocked up. i am on day 44. and made the coal maker.. but i have 2 wood cutters and set firewood to high. but dont seem to be making any le way on stockpiling it. any tips on how to get my firewood numbers up ?
Tip 11, ignore tip 3, DO build next to the road, a steady income of reputation from bandit kills AND once you unlock it, a guide sign (which can be only built or on near a road) works as fast travel for the game.
so you explaining things people should experience by them selfs as its how you progress. Not a usfull video at all. Trying out things is what makes it fun to get to know the game.
Not sure if anyone has done this one yet. When replacing small traps, instead of making new ones dismantle the broken traps using the build menu. They'll be added back in your inventory and you can place them again without needing to craft new ones. At least until the devs patch this out... (plz don't!)
so that is a bug? i figured i just didnt understand the game enough when i tell my guys to make 2 of each clothing to sit on the rack he just makes back to back hats and nothing else it would be nice if i could set day/night shift on my guard towers but im only allowed to assign 1 ...
can we all agree they need to add there traits to the settlement tab...... you know the tab designed to easily manage all your workers without having to click on them all individually..... sadly the only thing i didnt know was to die and drop things at odin, because i have never died lol
Would you be so kind as to give us the seed for this map? This map looks soooo much better and many that I have seen and the one I actually started on. Thanks in advance, Bob
I had no idea thatch and bark cud turn to fiber, that's actually huge. I don't understand death. I chose the ghost option and I spawned as a ghost next to the eye of odin in the village. I ran to my body as a ghost but couldn't find it, nothing happened. The 3 min timer ran out and I only had the option to become reborn. So I just spawned next to the eye of odin without any of my items that I had on my person. What does "taking the soul of one of your villagers" mean? I didn't notice any villagers disappearing when I become reborn.
If you take their soul then you come back at full strength, with all your stuff, and without losing skills... but they die. If you choose to be reborn, you drop all of your stuff and lose 30% of your skills. You can also choose to be a ghost, appear at the eye of odin, then change your mind by selecting reborn and then you are reborn but all of your stuff is right beside you b/c you were at the eye when you chose it. Good luck out there!
I have that Problem with the Hats too. if you figure out something about that i would like to see an solution. At the moment i manually let them stop crafting those things.
How do you progress on tier 2 with the research? IT says you have to have a villager with a profession of blacksmith or weaver etc.. Can they learn this or do i have to recruit one that already has that profession?
Can you make a short guide on the differences and uses between the pits and the huts? I just started playing and don't really understand if I can for example dismantle the gathering pit once I build a gathering hut? I do see that they are required to open more options in the building menu. Most "guide" or "walkthrouht" videos are just regular 30min to 1h+ gameplay videos with no concise information about the topic.
You can destroy the pit if you've built a hut. But you don't have to build it separately. You can look in it's info tab and upgrade it to a house and it will cost less resources. I'm currently 5 days without power due to a hurricane so it will be a beat before my next guide comes out. =) I'll get there eventually.
Could you please make a video on how I get my villagers to make tools for me. Can’t figure it out. This is my first game like this, really new to npc helpers
...nah im sorry that first tip is bull , you just have to run a super sneaky stealth sniper ..... yes i hate myself . yes i have died many times..... but im doing it
I found a way to get npcs to help fight bosses by using patrol markers as close to the boss as possible without dying and when they approach the marker pull boss to them. Hope that helps
@@relic8676 Yep, patrol markers are the best bet atm. You can also use this technique for the winter invasion if you find the portal. Thanks for sharing!
Check my vid on Wish I Knew Sooner ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RsE-__3fydc.html =) Also, if you can find the portal, you can place some hedge walls to delay them and take the fight to them. I'm actually working on a vid atm for the winter invasion too. Good luck! =)
Never break down Thatch into Fiber, it might be a pain but Thatch is like one of the most valuable materials end game and doesnt seem to respawn. Also dont allow villagers to harvest it as they will break down any over the cap of your storage.
This game plays like any other crafting survival game for about the first 5 days in game. After that, if you don’t start delegating work to your villagers, it becomes a mind-numbing grind fest. It kind of reminds me of some factory sim games I’ve played (ie satisfactory or dyson sphere program) in that as you unlock more and more tech, you can make almost anything by yourself but if you don’t automate the gathering of resources and production of items, it takes forever to do anything.
thank you! At first this game was very overwhelming and frustrating for me , but now that im on my 4th start over im loving it soo much and have been looking for a video like this to understand it better. Once you understand how to play lol its an amazing game
