Simple, relatively easy, cheap, effective, brilliant! Someone else had the suggestion to cut them up to fit even more in. Wonder how much 30+ foam plugs weigh though. Probably less noticeable at first, but ounces add up over hours. Still, more ear protection is better. Nice idea, definitely going to try it!
Hey do you mind sharing what dremel bit you used that worked well with the plastic? For shaving and smoothing? Thanks for the video, wanting to use the dremel but would like to keep it as clean as possible.
Walker razors where kinda lacking in the deadening department. I used poly fill for pillows from the fabric store, cut it in about 8" x 1" long strips and got it behind the speakers and really packed it in with a flat head. This worked wonderfully. Thank you! poly fill is also great as a cheap fish tank filter..
Now the real test is fill an entire shell with tube silicone like for a bathroom and let it dry. Cure times and viscosity are different for different colors when we use GE on the job site.
Video is correct, but did leave a bit out. Need to pre draw the screws and cams for the furniture thickness. Too loose, it will spin all day, too tight it will not secure. Aluminum and polymer are different, so be careful.
Thank you buddy. Got a badly stuck barrel nut off only to realize the barrel itself was also stuck in the upper. Your tip worked! Now the upper’s clean, undamaged and ready to be re-barreled. Saved me a bit of money!
Tried this with a wooden dowel yesterday, hitting it waaay harder than that, barrel didn’t budge a millimeter, and the dowel broke over and over until it was too small to use. I think I need a vice.
Man, this video was 3 years ago but I just did this trick in my razors and it was night and day. I actually used extra dense sound proofing cut with an exacto knife and shooting with out my suppressors is very comfortable now. With the suppressors it’s perfect.
Very nice explanation. Good camera and sound too. Mine's a G2c but it's the same. BTW, I use a $3 cafeteria tray when I clean my guns. Cheaper than a gun mat and none of the parts can get away because of the rim.
When I took the old Mattel off the back end of my grip module shot off? Now my grip safety won’t work, what am I missing here? Is there any pieces that could’ve flown out?
This magwell it’s not good and it requires that screw to be very thigh if not it won’t support the front part of the magwell the problem is that the mags don’t have a free drop that’s why I don’t recommend this one
This did not work for me at all. It is way way too hard to pull the magazines out when the Velcro straps are wrapped at the top. Update: Using a lighter, I was able to reshape the KYWI inserts to have a perfect amount of tension.😌
you lost me when you said you think it's a myth pushing a boar brush both ways through the barrel because it affects accuracy and wears the threads inside down because of the way they are cut into the barrel learn some more about guns brother you might be lucky but probably just haven't noticed it will change accuracy over time.
I don't understand how everyone is keeping it at 2 o clock with handle facing strong side, i have a tiny ass glock 43x and it prints like crazy on all my holsters. If i put it at 11 o clock with grip face to noon it isn't near as bad.
Thank you for your vid. I received the magwell for my C2 from Staccato today and I might add the hammer needs to be down before taking out the mag pin.
