Ferry Estonia secret!!! Since the Estonian state remains afloat thanks to drug transit, in 1994 the cargo was military equipment and drugs!!! Since the ferry to Estonia was waiting for the police in Sweden, the Estonian government and drug lords set off the bomb!!! Only 852 dead, but this does not concern the Estonian state business drug transit!!! That's how the COPTERLINE helicopter, which was new, fell down!!!

This is the greatest video that shows what the Estonia was like in real life. The employees that worked there, so happy. The passengers, curious and excited. Professionalism, the ship is immaculate, the whole video is just nice. The uniforms are so retro, the decor, everything. This video is surreal in how real it is and little did anyone know the fate that waited for them that fateful night, I am sure some of the people We saw in the video perished that night, here they are smiling and waving and alive. RIP. Truly, RIP

Ofc there are 😂Did you really think all Ro-Ro vessels would be scrapped? Its as ridicilous as to say that after Chernobyl all nuclear power plants in the world should have been shut down. just like with Chernobyl, its important to understand what went wrong with Estonia and how it is different from any other Ro-Ro vessels or more precisely the visor/car ramp design and also how the safety was improved after Estonia. 1) there were no water tight doors that could seal off the car deck completely from the car ramp/visor if it break off in Estonia. in all Ro-Ro vessels there after they were added if they werent there already. 2) many Ro-Ro ships even back then had doors behind visor that moved side-ways, not upwards/downwards. In those kind of vessels even if the visor broke off, the waves would just push the doors behind the visor tighter together 3) Estonia's visor locks were not designed to withstand extreme conditions/waves that could happen at Baltic sea from Tallin to Stockholm route. Estonia (originally named Viking Sally, and two other names, operated at much more calm waters between Finland's Turku and Stockholm where waves never could get as rough or high. 4) Estonia's visor/locks/car ramp's water tightness was not properly taken care of after the ship was sold to Estline 5)Other Ro-Ro ships that night when Estonia sunk slowed down a bit because the sea was rough, but the captain of Estonia did not do so 6)Unlike with all other Ro-Ro ships at that time, the captain nor anyone else could see from the bridge to the front of the ship directly in Estonia, because for some reason the bridge was moved bit more back from the front for some reason All of these things lead to Estonia's demise. So its important to understand the circumstances and not just doom all ro-ro ferries. Heck same way Chernobyl only happened because of every possible thing that could have gone/done wrong , went so. If Chernoby reactor 4 was never operated in the way it wasnt supposed to be operated, combined with design flaws and neglecting safety, the accident might have never happened and the exact same arguments apply for Estonia when it comes to ro-ro ferries

@@Balnazzardi Having said that, no-one wamts to live next to a nuclear reactor. I've travelled on ferries a lot, over the years, in various accomodations, from the chair in the lounge, right up to exclusive cabins. In future, i would go with the former. And it's the cheapest option. ☺

I remember watching this documentary that actually had to my recollection recorded footage of the disaster as it unfolded. The first was a shot of a stairwell by the parking bay. You can hear a bunch of car alarms going off behind the door. This was likely and horrifically the cars being knocked against each other as they began to float. Second footage was worse. You witness perhaps the first casualty of the incident. A member of staff is knocked off his feet in the bar area and slides around the floor as the ship lists. According to the narrator (Who was apparently a survivor.) The man wasn't just unconscious. He was dead. The fall had somehow killed him instantly. This also shows the chaos of the situation with some not understanding just how serious this is becoming and still joking/cavorting as the body slides around with assorted objects being flung around.

Sain videolle televisiosta paljon materiaalia katastrofista heti aamusta. Pealegi tegin Estoniast pildi Tallinna sadamas 1994 aasta augustis päikese käes. Ilus foto, karm saatus. R.I.P.

There's actually a series about MS Estonia coming out soon. It's not like a docuseries or anything it's a disaster drama and also the most expensive Finnish series ever made. It's based on the heart breaking stories of the survivors. Loads of well known Estonian, Swedish and Finnish actors/actresses in it. I hope they do the victims and relatives justice instead of hollywoodifying their agony for profit like most movies and series that are based on tragic real life events.

the fair-weather rowing boats, which are supposed to save lives in an emergency, are more than ridiculous. After all, the worst possible situation must always be assumed, which means that bad weather and high waves must be expected and the passengers would be helpless in such a situation, let alone unable to let them into the water from a certain angle! in escape pods, like on the MSC Napoli, would be the surest way of saving lives for everyone on board REST IN PEACE. all victims of this accident🌹
