Listen RT, I'm GITC, trust me when I say that there are 0 casters that allow TTS and this channel is the only source of TTS casts, disregard what HigginsObvious said, he's probably a redditor or a discord mod, we need the TTS, it makes the casts unique, who am I gonna listen to? PiG? With his aLriGhT aLriGhT aLriGhT yOu gUys... no, this is the superior cast
Hi Artosis, the text to speech makes this channel pretty hard to watch regularly and I think its a shame as they're pretty good games😅Would it be possible to do some or all of the scII casts with TTS turned off, like you do with brood war? Thanks!
IN a lost attempt match up of z verse of the first engagement if the person retreats... you have lair, a high risk payoff is go into muta, inject and save moeny and then make as many mutas as possible as soon as hte spire is done and get htem to actively cut off the z roaches, while you ahve of course roaches also, but R verse R when your behind you need a way of getting ahead, mix in a few spine crawlers and heavy drone production... 10 mutats.. 2-3 spines a 5-6 roaches can impede the biggest thign is larva and saturation of z bases.. the poitn of hte second wave is to surprise with muats, so there is a response... that gives you more time, that time gives you more mitigation with mutas, and expansio and heavy droning and possbly a 4rth 5 th base... zerg wit hconstant injects and larva makign cna get away wit ha greed recovery strat in z verse z... pigs beneficial attack worked well... walling is not to effective against ravagers... early swarm of mtuas, can really eat up the roaches for free, and you cna pick up easy overlords around the map... and strike at their drone line... typically this incrases their defence nad may return home... key is you need I liek 70 seconds... making drones during your savings and of course yo ucan make raoches if needed ,adn hten into mutas asap... burrow is also a great upgrade bit expensive when behind bit if you building a defensive unit like flying in a z verse z and that requires queens or defense burrow can save your drone lines, nad losing a building is not too bad... as early game larva is pretty imporant.
Cool 4-player map, but it's a shame the final game came down to the Argent mirror (although we did get to Animancers). It's one of the weird matchups they said they were looking into in the last patch, so I hope they try something in the next.
Cool to see Nina's attempt at solving the Kri Cabal problem with the same unit it intends to counter. One of my favorite things that can happen in RTS with proper micro.
Yeah Garnath got beaten to splash. But Lost Hope is the one map where you can play around splash by spreading your units in the middle. He knew PartinG had anims but attacked in a big clump anyway. He had a shot there if he spread to a huge concave in the middle where there's tons of room
thank you for this content. i would like to hear some insights on the builds during the creep phase. that is what you did so masterfully with starcraft.
if you're looking for the Cel build, it's most likely this kri opener that I've seen many pros do. This is Probe's fast kri into scythes vs infernal, but the opener is probably similar to what Garnath did here: - make starting core into creation chamber, and make a prism. Send your starting prism to mine therium - make a new morph core into a guardian nexus. make another prism - produce kri nonstop, get rollout. use kri to keep infernal back/harass army/kill gaunts - 3:30 starforge, keep making prisms to saturate 2 luminite nodes. - ~4:15 2nd collection array, then a 2nd starforge. army will be argents/kri/scythes. - Probe gets a 2nd arcship around 5:45, but after 3-4 minutes it's less of a build order and more depends on the vibe of the game
Vanguard just seems totally busted. I have been in positions with huge advantage as Infernal. With full map control and Vanguard holed up in his base. Yet still managed to disintegrate my army.
Disappointed that it was such a short game, but it was cool to see such a different Celestial opener. People have been sleeping on Cabals for way too long.
Cool to see Cabals out so early, specially with Kri. They seemed to have lost their place after the nerfs, but they're still more reliable DPS than Argents when the opponent is forced to fight.
Arty, cast Age of Mythology, Arty. It's so much better than this Sewergate game And I'm speaking as an SG Kickstarter Ultimate Founder's Pack backer with server buyer's remorse
Go watch Age of Mythology casts then, this is literally a Stormgate side Channel (even his main stream isnt full of Stormgate rn so just watch something else in the mean time)
Lol this isn't a Stormgate channel. It's a non-bw channel. It's where the other games like SC2, battle aces and other RTS go. AOM is a good fit for this channel. SG, as it is right now, isn't
@@BaconHer0 Stormgate is literally on the Channel name and only has Stormgate vids (As Arty's other side channel does only Broodwar casts). Go bug him on his main channel or stream about it.
@@alibitter6361 Channel name? That's the video title, this channel's name is ArtosisCasts2. Only StormGate? Are you sure about that? Can you please tell me what games were casted between 15 June 2024 to 31 Aug 2024? Go ahead, I'll wait.
I like that they're experimenting with all kinds of maps, but this one definitely feels too big, even if that might enable some different late-game compositions and/or drop play. That could change if they make the center base more attractive or with Tier 3 units that are worth tech-rushing for.
Is it me or do infernal seem underpowered atm, with the exception of miasma and dragons? They just don't seem to have any flexibility in unit composition. The lack of ranged units, plus the slow move speed of their melee units, makes it hard for them to take a cost-effective fight. And even when they do, like in this game, the infernal player still seems to end up behind. If the build times of imp vs prism vs bob are similar, that perhaps ought to be looked at too, as infernals need more imps overall as they lose one each time they make a building.
Infernal gets about 18% more workers than Vanguard, and a few more with the Rituals (potentially). That probably makes up for the difference if you consider both factions lose mining time for buildings. The lack of variety in composition definitely seems true, but a lot of their units seem to be designed as niche hard counters, so it might be a byproduct of the matchups instead of a problem with Infernals.
