Honestly, I never ever played any ddr games on the 1st PlayStation game console! Well…….i have played ddr games only on ps2. But, I never ever in my life have played one single ddr games off of the ps1 game console. Not sure why? But hey, I always grow up playing the ddr games on the PS2 back then. I’ve only played ddr SN1 & SN2 & extreme 2 & the Disney channel edition ddr one! But the rest of the other ddr games or some ddr games I haven’t played on the ps2/ps1 back then. DDR SN1 & SN2 Extreme 2 & Disney channel edition was the one and the ddr games that I grow up with that I played a long time ago back then in my middle school yrs when I was like about like 10-11 or 12 yrs old back in my middle school yrs! Like man. Sure did bring back amazing awesome great nostalgic memories 4 me back in 2006-2007-2008 tho. Miss those good yrs/days for me or myself tho!!! 😎😎

Dance dance revolution Supernova 1 and supernova 2 were my top #2 ddr games ever that I love to play a lot back then in my middle school yrs tho. kinda really wanna revisit those games very soon tho! really wanna get those games very soon off of amazon or Game stop or whatever this and that! Cuz again, those 2 ddr games sure did bring back good awesome nostalgic memories for me tho. 😎 Best ddr games ever! Well….. just the supernova ones. Cuz they were so fun to play a long time ago just for me back then.

Normally, it wouldn't. The game itself has no control over the lights since there would be no expectation for them to be there for CS play. The i/o board I'm using is taking care of that. Each of the spot lights is triggered by particular keys so they come on when you press them. Then there is bass detection on the audio that makes the neon flash.
I couldnt get my copy to work on my machine back when i ran a namco. I used the 573 chip hack, and still have it on my personal machine. That and True Kiss Destination dont work, but my 3rd through Extreme regular ones do, and Euromix 2 ❤
Aww. This was the home version, not the arcade. I do have the arcade one as well that I may do on a later stream. The arcade hack was kind of fussy back in the day. There are newer ones these days that will run on just about anything. True Kiss Destination ran with the analog i/o board that was used for 1st and 2nd Mix. So that makes sense that it didn't work on your machine running 3rd-Extreme.
Sorry, i dont understand. What a series of games Chanithm? I can’t find any information on it, nothing is clear at all. Initially, I thought that this was a fighting game, but here I see just a rhythm game, to which for some reason characters were added. If it is not difficult for you, can you explain to me what this series of games is and what it is? Why is there almost no information on it in English?
Chunithm is indeed a rhythm game. It's a Japanese game that does not have wide release outside of Japan, so that would explain why most information about it is in Japanese. Lots of rhythm games have characters. That's not all that unique. Even going all the way back to Dance Dance Revolution there were characters in the background dancing along with you. In many versions of the game you can even choose which particular character(s) would appear. In the case of Chunithm, you can earn and unlock characters by playing. Each character has various powers that can award different bonuses and assists during gameplay. Maybe that's why you thought it was a fighting game?
@@brianho25 Yeah, I think that's why I thought it was a fighting game. This was also influenced by the fact that one (or more) of the soundtracks was composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari, who is the author of the series Guilty Geer. The character design was also similar to that used in Guilty Gear. Thank you very much for your detailed answer! I'll try to play this someday, some of the soundtracks are very good

Nope. I would assume that is probably a power management setting in the Windows system you're running the game on, but only if you're running it on a non-stock build or it's been modified in some way. I've never seen the arcade factory build do anything like that.
I think you overestimate Konami. However, I think the issue here is that there is and even older hardware set for the original jubeat than what they used for ripples, knit, and copious (which is what this is running on).

I'd imagine they just pulled all the assets from 2nd Mix and upscaled them whether or not they actually got used in the final game. It may have even been an automated process.
I remember seeing a setup like this at a Dave and Busters in Hilliard, OH. Supposedly, and, I'm not sure if this is correct or not, this MIGHT have been the same machine I played at that D&B as I recall a post somewhere asking where this setup came from and they said a Dave and Buster's in Ohio. Glad to see this cabinet is in really good condition like this. It's getting harder and harder to find Daytona USA cabinets where I'm from, that's for sure.
I don´t know how many Euros I´ve give in this game. The technical college time for me as an electrician has good and bad sides, but this was one of the best. It was very funny to play and for oldschool gamer like me, perfect!!

Hi Brian, amazing set up! Also trying to comment here incase it was missed on the last video. My friend and I are looking for a dance machine we used to play as children at our local arcade. I believe it was Japanese it had three light up foot pads almost in a triangle formation and two hand sensors, you could wave at the bottom or the top of the sensor - do you know what this machine is at all?’

I think you're talking about EZ2Dancer which is actually a Korean game. I've never played it, but I've wanted to at least try it for a long time. I believe the game has been discontinued for about 20 years now, so I think you may have some trouble finding it again. I've never seen one in public, but I wish you the best of luck!
