Thanks for the video, it helped. I am using an azure VM and I got stuck on setting up web adaptor because I was using the public DNS name for the machine not the FQDN (which is the local URL). This video gave me enough of a clue to get it running since you were using an AWS machine.
Also, the order that your video follows isnt the same as the ESRI tutorial on setting up a base enterprise deployment (they have you install Portal first, then server), but it looks like it doesnt matter.
hello! Do you know if you can exceed 1000 character length in a "text" field inyour XLS form? My field operator needs more than 1000 characters but regardless if i change the "FieldLength" to 2000 and the "appearance" tab to "multiline" it wont let me publish and says my character length is too short of 1000... when its set to 2000. Any help please!?
Very good tutorial. Simple and to the point. Very clear to follow. The only problem I ran into was the correct format for the Portal home location. It took some adding ':443' to the full path in order to work. Thanks.
I have worked with experience builder and web app builder for 2 year we have adda customized widget's using html css Javascript jquery react , can you pls refer me for this job roles,
The BEST Experience Builder tutorial on the net! THANK YOU for going slowly and explaining each element as you come across it. Far better than any ESRI tutorial.
Do you know you create a pop up looks like on 0:49 seconds? Because from your demo, the pop up looks like a table format, not on paragraph format like on the 0:49 seconds
Hi!!! Thank you so much for this video. My installation went well but my properties doesn't have a webcontexturl. Please did you manually set it up or it was there after the installation?? A response would be really great please I've been on this for days.
Hi and thanks for your question! It is set manually. The link below has instructions. Hope this helps! We're so glad you enjoyed the video! We have more demos coming down the pipeline ;) Leave a comment if you have any topic ideas you would like us to cover.
@@geomarvel I would love a long format video over each of the widgets and how certain widgets work together. Or maybe several videos covering may 3 or 4 widgets in each video.
Hello, I installed the software like you said in the video. But the Data_ Interop_Ext feature does not work when I convert Shapefile format to other formats. So is there any way you can help me?
Excellent video and instructions, thank you!!!! When and if possible, can you create another tutorial showcasing the process to migrate Enterprise components on the cloud (Azure).
How do I keep the higher ups from tracking my location? Besides turning locations off. I need it to have a delay can someone help me with this issue? 😊
Thanks for the video! Just wondering if cache tile and tile cache are the same thing? at 1:17 you mentioned cache tile, is it just for storing the Scene Layers (3D)?
The orignial map screen does not have a grid pattern. The grid pattern is a featured that can be toggled on and off using the "Layout Grid" widget (located on the right column, 3rd option down). Refer to 01:40 for details... We hope this helps, reach back out if you have further questions.
If I have a layer with polygons varies from very small to very large size, it is possible make zoom according to the size of polygons? in Experience Builder
We tested your question with two very simple polygon in ArcGIS Experience Builder (use the link below as an example for reference). If there is a zoom action, the default is to zoom to the feature (zooms in more for smaller features). In the example provided, the white box shows the two features in Layer 1 (1 of 2 & 2 of 2). Select the action button (right corner, four small circles), click "Zoom to" for each, and they will automatically zoom to accordingly for their size. experience.arcgis.com/experience/25cb11736315441b9eca29549456e3c0/?data_id=dataSource_1-18627796710-layer-2%3A1
Thanks for your answer. In ExBuilder is´t available widget graph option pie. This video show about three decimal places. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BX3cIT01Jhg.html
We were unable to replicate your issue and come up with a solution, as ArcGIS Experience Builder does not provide "pie charts" as a widget. The pie chart feature is available in ArcGIS Dashboards. Are your working in ArcGIS Dashboards? Could that possibly be what you're referring to?

Hi I have a question, I am using your technique of having dedicated spacing bars to keep the layout consistent. I noticed that the blue outline (when a shape is selected) is tightly wrapped around the shape. Mine has a slight spacing, about 1 pixel, around the shape which is hindering the the purpose for the spacing bars. Any references or pointers on how to remove this?
In our demonstration, we use Frames and Shapes (located in the top left corner of the canvas). That’s what you should be using. These elements should automatically be tightly wrapped. If you’re not using the shapes provided by Figma, here are a few options you can try out. First, try manually cropping the shape. Sometimes there is a buffer around the image/shape that may not be noticeable. Another option would be to find the shape you’re using as an .SVG file as opposed to a .PNG file. SVGs will tightly wrap your shape, while a PNG will create an outlined box around your shape. Within the Figma Community, there is a plugin called Shaper, which offers a variety of shape-elements that can be brought into your project as an .SVG. Give these options a try, that should help with your issue.
Hello, help regarding this issues would be great, I'm attempting to learn a little more about how while loops work but I keep receiving this error when typing the code in Jupyter notebook. It once and prompted me for the password then when I tried to execute the cell again I got a string error. I'm using Jupyter from with in ArcGIS Pro. The current modules installed are arcpy and os. Example of code is below. password = ' ' while password != 'password': print("What is the password?") password = input() print('Yes, the password is ' + password + '. You may enter.') What is the password? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- TypeError Traceback (most recent call last) In [229]: Line 4: password = input() TypeError: 'str' object is not callable
We were unable to replicate the error you are referencing, but our guess is that somewhere in the code you are creating one of these errors: www.freecodecamp.org/news/typeerror-str-object-is-not-callable-how-to-fix-in-python/#:~:text=The%20result%20was%20the%20TypeError,a%20predefined%20keyword%20in%20Python.&text=Now%20the%20code%20works%20perfectly.
The comment: "The ListModel is static. My question is how to make it with an array of color names so I can supply it with a different array with say four or fifty color names. Thank you." was accidently deleted. Here is our response: Awesome question! You can watch our ListModel’s part 2 video where we demonstrate how to dynamically populate data into our listmodel or reference the qml listmodel doc (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1EJH0zj3srQ.html doc.qt.io/qt-6/qml-qtqml-models-listmodel.html). In summary you would loop over the array and use the append method. var colors = [“red”, “yellow”, “green”]; colors.forEach((color) =>{ colorsModel.append({ btnColor: color }) }) We hope this helps.
