Talking to your sparring partner about these issues is crucial to protect yourself against future CTE, is the responsibility of every boxer to be clear about the progressive damage that boxing can cause you if you do not practice it consciously. And unfortunately there are people who are not clear about this and engage in strong and frequent sparring to the point of having considerable damage to the brain that will greatly affect their daily life.
It is always going to be essentially you cutting angles against them cutting angles, the technique of how to throw a punch, when you’ve got those all down and dusted, that is it.
Haha yes, you are right. We call it Cuban Boxing because we are Cubans ., but we don’t live in Cuba . Thanks a lot for your comment we appreciate it .🥊
Can you make another video explaining in detail the drill? Is it back and forth? Is there a certain defense for the person waiting for the jab? Is the jab supposed to come from the hip or from the head, I reallly love to try this.
The drill is simple . Just both boxer throw the jab back and forwards . As you can see how the boxer in red is trapping the other boxer jabs . One of the idea is to react quickly
That’s the whole idea to get use to see the punching coming as the reaction as well . Doesn’t matter if someone is new , in fact is better to learn that skill from the start
You are so smart . Boxing at the beginning was outside sport . Later became inside sport . We are not jumping , plus concrete gives you more traction and that helps your legs smart man , also we don’t have “gym” . Thanks for your comment
Well , because there is no physics principle that forbids train boxing in the streets or in the mountain or beaches … The streets offer benefits as well.
