Thank you for your prompt response. One last question: What about the controller's current limit Amps and the battery discharge current Amps? Do I need to stay within the controller max current limit amps when I choose the battery discharge current Amps? Or does it not really matter?
Amp hours (Ah) of a battery are not the current limit. They are the size of the tank. The BMS of the battery should typically always have a higher max current rating that the controller of the e-bike
Essentially, the battery (BMS) designed to handle high discharge currents will ensure that the E-bike controller operates safely without any risk of damage. I genuinely appreciate your effort in clarifying this topic; your insights have been incredibly helpful in enhancing my understanding. Thank you!

That's cool and satisfies the government and state entities but, how much does it hurt the purchasers pocket? I mean, I got to be paying at least triple price for that little sticker thanks to the karens. The only shock I'm really worried about is sticker shock . If the company can't absorb the cost I won't be a customer. One commenter probably represents at least 90k people that don't bother to say anything. Something to think about for these companies
I have a Hyperscorpion. I want to add another battery Juiced G2 19.2AH , together with the original Juiced 19.2Ah battery. With the kit you are selling, will the two 19.2Ah work as just plug and play? Or will it fry the motor controller ?
You should be able to combine the two batteries. Will will need the mounting plate or connection to XT60. Voltage is what is import. Amp hours are just the size of the tank. -Matt
@@ElectricAllWheel - Thank You for your reply. Your kit include the two 14 gauge XT60 connectors, is the gauge good enough to carry the load in my situation? Or should I go with the thicker 12 gauge XT60 connectors?
The battery you used in this video is no longer available on amazon, following the link you provided. Could you provide a link to a different product or vendor that would work with this setup?
Just drove down and picked up 2 WIRED FREEDOM PLUS ebikes today they gave me 2 HEADSET BEARINGS. I will be installing them in the morning. Thank you for a great video
The amp hours are the size of the tank. The spec that’s important is the voltage matching voltage specs is important but 52V on a 48V system has been proven to work
I used to have one of these . I had severe range anxiety until I got a triple battery install on it. Have since gotten rid of it. But now ... I don't know what's going on in New York state but people can't buy batteries off Amazon no more or BBSHD or hub motors and a bunch of other stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with bike batteries. Now I have to pay double and triple prices and wait 1-2 months for stuff to come off the boat from aliexpress or some other site I don't know anything about. Only to find out I got robbed or can't return it . I don't know what the gvnmt is thinking. They are treating everyone like they're trying to buy ammo . 🙄 Bike shops don't have these kind of parts in stock. until the witch hunt shuts me down completely I'd be miserable with that little battery 🤷 I won't be offended a bit if you delete this. 😂 I would
New York is just on another level, man. They raise taxes for the people who drive but make it nearly impossible for people to find a more economical option. To me, their intentions seem pretty clear.
@@sebastianmosqueda5959 it's just Karen insanity at its height. 170k cooking fires from people walking away from the stove but we don't ban cooking. 5k people choke on food every year but we don't ban eating because a few people can't remember how to chew and swallow. Teslas, cell phones, cordless tools, Bluetooth earbuds, vape pens etc burst far more frequently but just not popular to cover for some reason.

I just bought a current generation wired freedom that only had 73 miles on it when I bought it. The guy that I bought it off of installed the hellbender headset himself at home, and I’m quite sure that he did it completely wrong. You know that little slither of plastic That you’ll find on a bottle cap that sticks onto the bottle as you unscrew the cap? Well a thin slither of plastic such as that is sticking out around the top of the help in your headset. I can’t for the life of me figure out what he did wrong, but any help to explain it to me, and tell me how I should go about fixing the problem would be greatly appreciated!
Put in the USB device. Installation not bad works well. It does draw 10ma just being in the circuit, not bad considering 10amp battery but if not charging or using will draw down the battery in about 30-40 days. So put on charger when not in use for long periods of time. Great product I do recommend.
The Big Sur is a winner! For the price point, it's truly a hidden gem. Whenever everyone catchers on, it's going to sell like hotcakes. It's the perfect ebike.
Hello, me again. I bought your combiner from Amazon for my Heybike Brawn. My second Heybike Brawn actually because some woman in a red Subaru ran me over on the first one so I got another one and have the extra battery and socket from the original. So I'm adding the second battery and am asking if you mind if I drop a video and pictures of install on my channel? I don't want to copy what you've done but add to it. I probably wouldn't be able to do the install without watching your video first. When I'm done I'll have 36 amp hours combined. Like I mentioned, I don't want to infringe on your content but add the Brawn to the Heybike family you've already been working on. Thanks for the videos and product help.
I’ll be putting in an order very soon for all that I need to add batteries to both of my 3.0 step thru’s. My original batteries are the 10ah, can I add the 20ah? Thanks.
Can’t really imagine why you’d want to turn off the batteries except maybe for long term storage. I guess you could turn off the front battery and ride until the rear battery is depleted and have plenty for a return, but you can do that as is. Definitely need to use a couple straps of Velcro to really secure the batteries and stop all related rattles. The extra gauge wiring keeps everything cooler and is a welcome upgrade.
The Wired Freedom was delivered mid July. I purchased it not for speed, but for the power, durability, and batteries. I ride with friends in old logging roads, cattle trails, and unkept gravel roads. These routes are rough, mean, and downright challenging. The tires have withstood sharp and unpredictable surfaces. Some of our adventures are on steep and nasty inclines for miles. This bike has shone the strength and capabilities of what a fat tire e-bike can handle! The brakes are fantastic for the declines of up to seven miles of twisty turns. My friends have brand X e-bikes and now wish they spent the price for a Wired. Going 35 mph is fun but doesn’t compare to the country we have explored and the terrain we have crossed. I would recommend this e-bike.
