I’m French and I walk into FSH without appointment or purchase history and I got a birkin after few days I was insure about the color so I was wanted to exchange it for a black birkin 30 and was with another SA who was soooo rude with me because I exchange it and I didn’t get another bag so I called hermes at phone to tell all my experience after 3 days the manager of leather department call me and I got my Black birkin the next day with rose gold hardware. So for me expect this SA was a amazing experience I really like them there. But of course they see sooo many rude people all day must be hard

Why do people/ we allow to be treated like we are not worth .. why do we need validation by having an expensive bag ? Don’t get me wrong I want one .. but why ? Can I afford it ? Yes .. with a big effort . But .. I stop and think if I want to go through that . That’s why fake bags are thriving. It is horrible all that stress .

Let’s hope you’re right and I get offered one with low prespend 😂 Edited to add: my issue with prespend is…. - I don’t like most of their homewares or furniture, I’d rather buy vintage and antique pieces or Ralph Lauren home for example - I don’t love their fine jewelry (I don’t really think it’s fine jewelry tbh…) and I’m hard to fit re rings and bracelets. Eg. The smallest click-h fits me loosely lol, and I do have a couple of those, but how much costume jewelry do you need? And with a size 4 ring finger my choices there are pretty limited too. - Shoes - I’m a 35.5/5.5 us, and shoes are tough for me to fit. Eg. Can’t wear Chanel slingbacks because they’re cut too wide… so I can only wear like, the Hermes legend. The Oran? Forget it 😂 And their sneakers are too wide as well - I like their scarves, but again how many is reasonable? I’m not into the scarves - as- wall -decor … so while I’m happy to buy and wear them, that’s a whole lotta scarves to get to 2:1 or 3:1 lol. And I’m not buying bags I don’t like no matter who the brand is. So… 😅 it’s a pickle!!
Wow!….That is a trip and very eye opening. I only have two Hermes non quota bags which I do like but like you I just look at them as nice bags..very well made…one is vintage over 40 years old and in fantastic condition. I got it spa’d at The Beverly location where all the SA’s were in love with the bag which they still make a version of but not like mine. Not sure if I will try to get a leather apt when I go to France but I agree….grown ass women making a scene over a handbag is a no go period. I do enjoy collecting lux bags and have been in and out of bag buying for 30 years. I think I am more into collecting ready to wear pieces as of late and enjoy purchasing an occasional bag whilst still rocking some of my old favs from the early 2000’s which are holding up great. Thank you so much for sharing…it just reinforced my position if I ever get a quota bag great and if not that is ok too!
You must have self-steem and don't beg for an ugly over priced old lady bag just for pretending that you belong to an elite. There are a lot of options and mini artisans that make beautiful craftmans pieces
I am always surprised with Hermes, when I don’t expect to get anything, I get offered bags and when I am ready to buy, nada! Lesson of the story, always be ready to buy but still look nonchalant 😂😂😂
A lot of French (esp Parisian) act like that arrogant esp to different nationalities. But to the person or friends they knew they are very nice…. I’m from Australia. I really can’t deal with this kind of attitude

😂 What a great story…I have been living in Germany for the last 2 years and I have applied for a leather appt for 2 years, off and on. I have also travelled to Paris twice since being here and applied for an appt both times, but I have not been so lucky. I shopped at FSH to build a hx, but that has not helped me get an appt. However, I have had a lot of success at the CHANEL boutique, where I have a really nice SA, and other nearby stores. I will keep trying to get an appt, we shall see! 🤞🏾

I hand't noticed that some RU-vidrs answered to bigger youtuber comments more than other subscriber comments, but after hearing Jerusha's last video on why she's quitting and how much this community has changed, I'm not surprised. I also loved watching your vidoe on Paris Hermes shopping experience - You're such a great story teller! This story has made me laugh! It’s a similar story to me really as I was a 6pm appointment which kept changing throughout the day and it was really a full time job. I didn’t get offered a bag but they were unbelievably kind to me, I saw a lot of very rude demanding people being very rude to the associates and my kindness and softness was welcomed. I think truthfully they don’t have ‘bags’ or they simply aren’t able to sell out every day. I don’t know if Paris is the same as it was and I did win the lottery and have a history. I was offered 2 great clutches and she really really did try. I believe that they try their hardest but simply there’s not enough to go around. I’m lucky I’m only in London and can go to London and Paris but I love Paris simply because the rate is better and we get tax back. I think honestly it pays to work at your home stores than trying Paris (if you have one) as it can really ruin the experience if you rely on getting a bag even with an appointment. I was also with my family and waiting for dinner so I didn’t have time to even build a relationship at 6:30pm. Xxxx

I have the opposite, i keep getting bags with gold hardware but no palladium hardware and i want palladium. I ended up with mini evelyne blue saphir with gold hardware and picotin 22 black with gold hardware.
24:48 how do these grown people not realize how unethical this is for SAs, its store policy for almost every luxury brand to not accept gifts from clients, my lv sa told me the only time theyre allowed to accept them is that if the gift is to be shared with other SAs
