I agree with the NPC thing you said at the end. I think story quests work best when the NPC's that are included are used to showcase the personality traits of the character, not the other way around. Like the one in Xianyun's quest that was there to show how much care and love Xianyun had for her disciples, and it's one of my favorite story quests ever. I'm not sure if you got the optional dialogue with Kinich on stream or not. After Enjou makes his totally not cowardly retreat you can talk to Kinich where he tells you that Enjou was looking for info on the Mare Jivari. I'm really hoping we get a Natlan expansion into the Mare Jivari and maybe we meet Enjou again there?
I think his addition will be interesting indeed, and a most welcome one for me. Although if he does get added to the main story, I'd image he'll have to lose a bit of his comedic side since the main plot is usually more serious.

I think that animated bit at the end is teasing Pyro MC with the way he goes through all the other elements during the fight finally ending with that unknown person (Mavuika probably) creating the wall of flames. That whole moment of us fighting alone in the Night Kingdom might actually happen in game and that might be the time we get pyro. OOO maybe we get our ancient name succesfully forged then we "die" and are stuck fighting the hordes down there waiting for something to save us.

She is both a Crystalize Support and a On Field dps depending on her team. If she is in a mixed team of PHEC units she takes on a supporting role of res shredding for everybody and providing onfield heals. If she has less than 2 phec partners (So either one PHEC, or any number of Anemo or Dendro since her samplers ignore them and she can't res shred for them) she instead becomes a greedy dps who expects everybody else to support her instead, focusing on dealing a constant stream of normal attack geo damage scaling off her defense. Sicne her huge damage is actually counted as normal attack and not skill damage, this makes her really intrestign to build, as units with buffs that make normal attacks stronger, like Xingqui or Yun-jin, become good partners, along with Gorou cause it can't be a geo team withotu his ass. Making her both Geo Kazuha or Hotgirl Itto depending on the team she is a part of. Her constellations boost both her solo dps and support so high that c2 is almost mandatory.
NGL I'm pretty stoked for this patch. Seems like everything just goes off and shi- hits the fan based on that cutscene. Also, Xilonen is bae and Citlali is kawaii... heh...
I thought they will release at least Masters of the Night Wind this time around but I guess they will release the rest of the areas/tribes with mavuika during finale. As for 5.2 i still have no idea and I am kinda scared of what they are gonna cook

I don’t see what the big deal is with the shower. When talking about fanservice it ain’t much. Yes they’re naked in the shower but we don’t see anything but the bottom part of their legs which people show everyday in the warmer months. Nor are they showering in a sexual manner, they are playing around as friends. I am not attracted to women and do get uncomfortable with very fanservicey things but didn’t feel anything about this. I agree that this was put in as fanservice but frankly their normal outfits are more promiscuous than this.
Demo is just subpar. I had to go it frame by frame to actually understand what tf was happening on screen, too fast in my opinion. Shower scene, sigh, just one purpose - fanservice, it felt cheap and completely out of place. They redeemed themselfves with teaser. And if I'm not mistaken, cactus being a middle finger as friendship guesture, is a reference to Mr.Been movie (?)

Well they literally just finished fighting a bunch of goons and were riding under the sun, in the desert, in their motor bikes. All that dust, sand, and sweat from fighting will literally stick on their skin. So are you telling me that you *_won't_* take a shower in that condition? Cause I sure hell will do.
