@@megamus3 Above the front roller, yes, but the smooth type. However, Hammerite is very thick, and can give a very gloppy finish. For the boiler itself I would suggest a heat resistant paint.
It's the Midland Gliding Club. Open to visitors with its own cafe. Brilliant views from the club house. Use the car park and watch out for gliders launching and landing..
I doubt I'll ever be on such a gob smacking ride ever again. Talked to a bloke about the new Goldstar. Talked to a bloke about Ducati's standing on the carriage way on the M6. Yakin to a chap with a CBR 600 at the museum. Talked to a young chap at Oxford, noting that he was one of the few under 50, and perhaps a good example where motorcycling is these days, and Nathan got me a tea 😁.
Well done Chris. You were still buzzing when you came to see me Monday after your Dave’s Day weekend away. Great video from you and Nathan’s coverage. An amazing variety of motorcycles. Thumbs up to everyone who took part in Dave’s Day 😘 x
They have not been manufactured for several years now. The KS model was the first incarnation and was reasonably popular, then there was the 2.0 version, which I think had a few improvements, but not enough to make me want one of those. I think your best bet is Ebay. A quick look suggests there's several available, some unopened sets. There's a 2.0 version too. Prices seem to be less than half price at the most, with several earlier versions a fifth of the original price.
All this is just an extention of what I get up to. If any one gets anything out of any of the many and varied topics, great. An added bonus you might say.
I see Highwood Classic Arms have original SMLE mags for sale. Mine loads and feeds fine, but won't hold 10 rounds, only 9, so going to try one from Highwood...
This toy steam roller has no seat or action figure. It's not even a remote controlled steam roller. Not like the ones that you'll see in a hobby store.
@PLAYINGAROUND The modern-day remote-controlled toys have different features. When I first came over to the downtown Santa Cruz Goodwill, I saw the modern remote-controlled combat tank. The battery-powered combat toy tank had a cord attached to the remote. They both weren't independent from each other.
There is a possibility that suppressors may be freely available. Currently they are treated as a firearm on oiur licenses, but for what? A pipe with some baffles and wadding. It's got to go through the law process before any changes.
The new mag? Nothing. Sold as SMLE mag. Went straight in. Works like a dream. Link in description. As for the old mag, it came with the rifle and used to work fine until last year.
Great idea! In my neck of the woods(western Canada) I can go into the bush whenever I like, but with snow and rain, sometimes I don't like. I frequently shoot airguns which allows the skills to be kept up. I think this would be a perfect new division.
Good video, no doubt!! This very 1911 replica is probably very durable. To bad that the slide does not matches the real steel, but we can not have everything. And maybe it was made in Germany, I think and hope so. But I am not sure. Does the barrel of this very model has rifling??
I myself wondered about the lack of a drive pulley on the drive shaft. I did look at adding one but that would have meant too much disassembly. Luckily mine runs fine even with the drive band catching on the part shown.
Just bought this new from a toyshop selling online; their last one apparently. It's a shame that the instructions for the fourth and fifth builds don't seem to be available online from Meccano/Spinmaster 😟
I think that your narrative of interesting facts about your stops made this video for me. Very interesting and well done for completing the task in one day after two false starts!
A jolly nice day out, well steered Cap'n 👍 I wonder if there are day boats on my local Mon. and Brec. (Monmouthshire and Brecon canal)? I enquired about a week's hire but they want £1000 plus!!
Round these parts, if you only go one way, there are current deals for around £600. Just sign up to a few websites and they will send you any offers. Try ABC Boats. Of course you will have to travel I dare say.
