No offense, but in order to set up spider man four with this new venom movie, they’d probably have to not kill off one of the most dangerous threats in marvel (Knull)
That’s what I believe too. Although if some of the rumors are to be believed, Knull will be set up in Venom 3 and be the primary antagonist of Spider-Man 4. That’s just a rumor for now though
This is how i rank the franchise: Aliens 10/10 Alien 9.5/10 Prometheus 8/10 Alien Covenant 7/10 Alien Resurrection 6.5/10 AVP 6/10 Alien Romulus 6/10 Alien 3 2/10 AVP: Requiem 1/10 People constantly dismiss the artist merit of Aliens. But trust me. Knowing what i know now, Aliens is the most timeless movie in the franchise. Suspense films like Alien are not as timeless as character-driven stories like Aliens. The first movie cares more about setting up the moody and scary world of the Alien franchise. The characters are flat and forgettable compared to Newt, Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez and Bishop. Believe you me, James Cameron is no Michael Bay. He gives us beautiful images at time. But Bays shots, stories and characters are all flat and thoughtless. Cameron however spends so much more time and energy on EVERY shot, and there are many moving shots in a James Cameron film. And for good reason. In order to absorb us over and over, Cameron has to bombard our eyes, our minds and our hearts with art. Thats how Cameron gets his 3D effect as seen in Avatar.
That’s the great thing about film though. It’s all subjective. I love Batman’89. I just prefer the Nolan movies to the Burton movies, but Batman ‘89 is still a classic regardless
Took forever for him to lose his damn hand. Dont get me wrong I loved TWD but damn it's getting ridiculous with all these spin offs. Although...Z Nation was better.
It can be quite a lot to keep up with now with so many shows beyond the original series. Some are worth it though. I thought The Ones Who Live was pretty good and Daryl Dixon has been really fun. I’ve heard good things about Z Nation. I definitely need to check it out
The Iron Man snap scene at the end of Endgame is also a top moment for me. It was really hard to just pick one for that movie. Endgame has so many great scenes.
To me, Days of Future Past is the closest the superhero genre has come to perfection. This movie destroyed my suspension of disbelief almost immediately. I was fully absorbed in the story and the characters the whole time. The visual storytelling is so good, its as if James Cameron secretly directed Days of Future Past and put Bryan Singers name on it. Top Tier: X-Men Days of Future Past, Logan Excellent: X2, Deadpool, X-Men First Class, Deadpool and Wolverine, X-Men Apocalypse (Yes, i said it) Very Good: X-Men, The Wolverine, Deadpool 2 Good: X-Men 3: The Last Stand Okay: X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men Dark Phoenix Bad: The New Mutants
Wanted to see this series through till the end. I just enjoy talking about these movies. Couldn’t pass up the chance to talk about one of my favorites. I’m doing very well. Hope you are doing good yourself
I think so too. I don’t know if him playing Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad takes him out of the running or not though. It didn’t keep Nathan Fillion from getting recast so maybe it could work for him too. That would be cool to see
I don't know what to say about this one but I am not surprised making a Minecraft movie? I never played Minecraft so I don't know. I just hope they dont start to venture making a Legend of Zelda movie? Im afraid they might screw that one up.
@@TennisReaperCinema-vp7bw There have been reports of a possible Zelda movie being made at some point. If it’s live action I will be concerned but if it’s animated like the Mario movie I could see it being done well
@@MPMoviesandMore Oh God No. This is what I was afraid of man. They already did a number of TMNT, transformers, Garfield and a few others. If they make it they did Super Mario Bros, Im cool with that. If not, my god.
The first thing that pop in my mind is the bootleg version of Suicide Squad which is lead by an old man that look like Aqua man. I can see they trying something different but it might work.
While it is a Marvel Studios film, it’s included here, not only because it’s a sequel to Deadpool 2 and a follow up to Logan, but also because it’s a send off to the entire run of the Fox Marvel films
I get your point. Deadpool does reside outside of the X-Men series, but since it is tangentially related to the X-Men series, especially with everything that went down in Deadpool and Wolverine, I thought it was best to include it
I think The New Mutants had a lot of potential for sure. There are some interesting concepts in the film but I don’t think the movie as a whole really worked that well. Not bad, just underwhelming
I think this movie had a lot of potential. I know at one point they wanted to make a whole trilogy out of the new mutants. While it didn’t quite work for me there are many cool concepts established in it. Glad you enjoyed the film
No X-men movie is above any Deadpool movie. You blew it. I’d rather watch my static comic card collection in hopes that they’ll become active then watch any X-men movie again 🤮
" you blew it " Who are you talking to, the VAST majority. X men has some of the biggest controversy but most people agree Days of the Future past CLEARS Deadpool 2.
I’m a fan of many movies from that era. It’s movies like Back to the Future that really got me into loving films. A lot of my favorite franchises come from that era. I’m doing very well. Thank you for asking. Hope you’re day is going well too
I actually watched Aliens right after I did this review so I’ll be posting a video over Aliens as well. I plan to catch up on the entire series before the year is up. That first one got me hooked
I just don't consider Disney to be canon. I know they erased all the lore and call it legends now but I'm sorry, it doesn't work that way. You can't suddenly change decades of lore, not only lore, ESTABLISHED LORE just because you decide to. Everything that was written about or made into a comic before Disney took over is what really happened as far as I'm concerned. That said I really enjoyed Obi Wan (made me cry😂) and the first 2 seasons of Mandolorian were incredible. Thar moment Luke took that hood down was one of the best moments in Star Wars history. Boba Fett was decent but not incredible or anything. So they've done a few good things but the sequel trilogy and shit like the acolyte are just woke trash.
Just in time for your review. How it going today? It about time that the alien franchise got this one right. Pretty good movie, storyline was good, not an all-star cast and of course, the alien show its butt off as usual. This is what happen when you go on a ship not knowing what on it and end up getting toss like a tin can on the street. Well done with your review.
Glad you enjoyed the review and the movie. Yeah I thought it was well done. I’m coming into this franchise pretty fresh so I don’t have the baggage of the poorly received films in the series but I’m well aware that this series desperately needed a win so I’m happy to see the Alien franchise back on track. I watched Aliens after I did this review so I’ll be posting that review sometime soon. I’ve been doing well. Hope you’ve been doing good yourself
Romulus was very good. Actually works as a nice follow up to the original movie. Prey was received pretty well by fans so that franchise seems to be heading in the right direction for now. Hopefully they’ll get that series back in theaters soon
The best alien movie out there since...ever. I even play the video game of Alien Isolation and that was pretty good. Intense, scary, and very entertaining. How are you doing today and how your day?
It’s definitely top tier of the series for sure. I just watched James Cameron’s Aliens for the first time. I prefer that one overall, but as far as the horror side of the series goes, Alien would definitely be the best. My day has been pretty good. Hope yours has been as well.
Doing well. Thanks for asking. Hope you are as well. I think Star Wars needs a major course correction. It’s needed one for many years now. The fanbase is just so divided that it’s not even that fun to talk about Star Wars these days. In my honest opinion, Lucasfilm needs some major leadership changes and a clear vision on where to take the universe that can get all fans excited for the franchise again
I feel the 2013 Wolverine was the worst ~ pitting AN Xmen vs street level Ninjas-&-Samurais in Japan... that felt like THE Karate Kid movie shot in Osaka, Japan (Mr Miyagi hometown) 🤣🤣🤣
