Id just bind A and X to R3 and L3 (pushing the sticks as if they were a button). Its what i do for jump and crouch in many games as i find it easiest (especially ones like Apex Legends. In ones like OW, instead of crouch i bind melee because melee in OW is a lot more useful then being able to crouch)
Yep, we've bound those as well but didn't mention it in the video. But using the sticks as buttons is also not something that comes very naturally to everyone, especially when trying to move with them at the same time.
@@tellus_games A huge part of gaming should be making it accessible to everyone, either as an option or the default. Disabled or the abled. Young, old or middle aged. Experienced or inexperienced. I just talked about what I would've done if I had the game and found it clunky, as an idea to other people who scroll the comments.
I played it for the first time just now by myself, IT IS SO FUN!!! I have to get my friend over to play fully but so far (by myself) it's actually incredible. One thing, you can't see all the credits :( There's a scroll bar but I can't scroll. That's it, I wish I could play online and play with my friends from anywhere but THIS IS AWSOME. ALL ANYONE COULD EVER WISH FOR!!
If i had a nickel for everytime i had a promising smash bros like indie game's blog about coding and balancing the game appear in my recommended I'd have two nickels, which isn't much but it's cool that it happened twice
This looks rather fun, but to make the punches look like they have impact, maybe you could add in some graphical and sound effects like in a lot of other games.
I would say that more direct inspirations to this game are Gang Beasts and Heave Ho. This video style however is very much inspired by how Zapray talks about Bopl Battle on TikTok and RU-vid Shorts, and he's even been kind enough to share some tips with us on his video formula.
