At Trail Kings we are all about family and sharing our passion of UTV trail riding. Trail Kings is focused on bringing value through explaining why we bought a product & providing feedback on the ones we use for our personal machines. We do this so you can better make decision on what products you want to buy for your machine and not waste money getting something that isn’t a fit for you. The focus for our Trail Kings Channel will be 2 main types of videos. The first type of video will be things I wish I knew about products before buying them. The tricks I learned while installing the products. I’m hoping this can save you time and help you decide if the product is right for your machine. The second type of video will be a Vlog style episode that will take you on our adventures to show you our experiences of laughter & those moments of “oh s**t”. We hope you’ll enjoy the fun shenanigans that happen along the way. Please Subscribe to follow along as our family journey unfolds.
Excellent video and very useful information. Well done Travis. Thank you for sharing your time, experience and expertise. Pretty new to the ATV world but now have my son's 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI twin and seems I'm getting exposed to needed repairs pretty darn frequently. Currently getting ready to replace fuel line from tank to filter, fuel pump, foil on fuel tank (don't know what purpose it serves but what's there looks partially missing), a couple of outer CV boots (or maybe do complete replacement of the axles). Most every bushing I can see is either cracked/hard or missing so plan to replace them as well. Will be changing differential, transmission and engine lubricants too. Sure hope I'm not taking on more than I can handle but thanks to youtube videos I feel pretty confident that this old man can do it. Thanks again for sharing.
2019 Rzr turbo s with dynamix eps stopped working and steering exclamation came on after power wash. Fuse is good, all connections seem dry. What else can it be?
Was this the icon you are referring to????... .it occasionally showed up on the last ride but has not come back since and was only on the Ride Command screen on our 24 Pro R and not on the speedometer screen..... it is a yellow icon with the ! just to the left of the gas pump percentage. This was out first time on the trail with it
You don’t average two spring rates in series guys. Think for a second, if you have one spring that’s 300 lb/in and press it against a wall you’ll feel 300 lb/in of force. Now if you put that spring up against another spring, it wi always feel softer than 300lb/in because the second spring is compressing some, even if the 2nd one has a higher spring rate. So two springs are always lighter than any individual spring. As another posted, the correct formula is to use the product divided by the sum for spring rates.
I live in Gilbert, very close to those “outlaw” trails that you guys were on. Even I had to follow someone to Wilmore Dam my first time, because they had been there before. Just “winging it” on these trails around here is just asking for trouble, and headaches. They constantly get severely washed out, or tree blocked. Local knowledge is everything. It’s honestly a miracle that things went as well as they did, for you guys…..
Your videos are awesome, headed to Hatfield and was tying to get your gpx file I clicked on your link chose Hatfield maps and entered my name/email but nothing came up after that. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, can u help me out?
Funny how guys are, the haves and have nots, you go for a ride things will break, tools, parts, gas and most important the knowledge of how it works, some go with nothing but a phone to call for help. Enjoy the trail guys.
My pro r completely fell apart with less than 200 miles on it. One minute we were driving at 30 mph on a flat dirt road, the next we were stopped with a sheared main frame and broken ball joints around $17k in repairs. Very disappointed in polaris.
Right.... These things are tough, I haven't had a single issue on my 2023. I did replace my front lower ball joints with heavy duty grease-able and adjustable ball joints, because they used smaller ones up to April 23 and I got mine in January 23. Otherwise no trouble, runs like a scalded dog,
Just to change the subject really quick.. people please stop wearing a dirt bike motorcycle helmet!! Ya don't need the visor it looks stupid when ya driving a sxs. It's for the sun glare, don't need it if you're under a roof. It's for 2-3&4/quads wheel guys ..
Dude I spent hours and was about to quit when I saw your video tried 90 deg flat bar and a mini Thor sledge and a lot of PB blaster it works!!!!!!!! Thanks a ton!
Great info and great video for people bringing kids out there. I've been riding there for a few years with the axel helmet. Drove past cops and DNR numerous times and all was good.
My two sons, one is 10, one is 14, both ride new Polaris Sportsman 570 ultimate trail machines. Experienced riders. There is no way I want them on little 90's or 200's without 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel braking, EPS, active decent control, or EBS, driving on an ATV trail with any kind of hills. Not safe in my opinion. Problem is, they are stickered for 16 min. age. Would I get harrassed on the Hatfield and McCoy trail system for this? We don't drink, don't drive fast, always wear a helmet. Wife and I ride 850 ultimate trail machines. Please share constructive thoughts. Thanks everyone!
