i love this song so much, no one will ever understand how much bro. i played this last year with an honor band, and i IMMEDIATELY fell head over heels. i was a freshman, 3rd chair trumpet, and i got to play the 1st part (it’s fun either way) with a junior and a senior as 2 and 1 chair respectively. i absolutely love this song and i can’t even begin to express how much i would love to play it again for the 1st time. best song i’ve ever played and probably will ever play
I love this piece so much but as the only oboe player in our band, I’m the only one with one specific 1/8th note pattern and it is extremely frustrating. 😂 but I love the way this piece sounds
Katahj Copley knows what he is doing always this music piece is like one of the many music pieces that I feel the feeling of backlash it’s so perfect he makes everything sound so good. His music pieces need a lot more attention though. Because all of them are perfect!
At 1:08 I can feel how it starts to build 1:27 I love how dramatic it is 1:43 dramatic silence chefs kiss 2:10 another building moment 2:50 so powerful 2:57 I love how full it is
I had the privilege of being a part of this ensemble, and this piece was just as fun as it sounds! Mr. Copley is a truly fine composer and human being and I will always be looking out for more music of his to play.
I absolutely love this piece so much, and would love to play it in my band 😭Does anyone know what score it is tho? I've looked so many places but cannot find an answer. I saw somewhere it was a 3 but I'm not sure
I played this in an honors band several months ago and it's been in my mind ever since. The tuba part may be a bit repetitive, but the piece itself is wonderful ❤ Glad I could be able to play such a beautiful piece
