I honestly didn't understand this guide at all. The first few episodes of this Branded Acedemy series were good, because you explained it in a way a new Branded player like me can follow. And i hoped i can use this series to learn and get somewhat ready to get into competetiv scene. In the later episodes and especially in this one. The viewer needs to know every other possible Deck you could face and this does make it even harder for me to understand this Deck. This creates a very weird paradox for a new Branded player like me who wants to learn the Deck and its Combos to get into the competetiv scene. But the explanation of you requires me to already know it. I hope you understand.
I feel like that's something that is out of the scope for a Branded guide. Understanding what all other decks do is a topic for a whole separate video explaining that, rather than combining it with a Branded guide, which might not fit all players.
@@galzo Understandably. Maybe explaining the combos in a pure vacuum and further explanation against specific Decks in a different Part of the video could make these guides easier to understand for everyone. Again, i am not asking for explanation of what the other Decks do, rather i just wanted to point out that mentioning other Decks and their techs (mid combo) is more confusing than actually helping (at least in my case). Sorry if my feedback wasn't clear enough.
Orcust, if the “leaked support” is true could definitely become a solid rogue or maybe even meta playable midrange/control deck in the future There was a leaked Link 1 that uses any Orcust or World Legacy monster (including the Token) as material, it can discard 1 to add the Babel from Deck to your hand as well as banish another Orcust card from GY to summon itself back including cards that you normally can’t banish from the GY like Girsu, Galatea and Dingirsu and thus are able to now shuffle them There was also a leaked Link 4 which targets a Banished Orcust/World Legacy, adds the target to your hand, then shuffles from your hand into the deck in order to non targeting steal a monster, then it also has a GY effect where during the turn it was sent to the GY, you can banish it from the GY to send a card on the field to the GY Both of these cards, if true, would be insane for the strategy, allowing a lot of hands to play through interruptions, allowing you to end with both Crescendo and Babel instead of having to chose as well as the Link-4 allowing you to grind infinitelt since it can shuffle cards like Orcust Crescendo, Orcustrated Return if it was banished for the Link 1’s revive effect and even Babel if it gets Cosmic Cyclone’d. If the leaks are true then I’m using Return pitching Harp Horror for another hundred years
Please be advised that “Konami said so” that fusion substitutes cannot be used when banished. You can still use it normally from GY to bring out Buster Blader, unfortunately not under Shifter. Had no idea and of course this ruling doesn’t make sense… but… they did say so.
Honestly the problem with the deck is the player base and their overconfidence in the deck the lack of being able to analyze it outside of a vacuum assuming that no matter what it's the best deck even though it loses to a single Ash blossom on branded fusion Every single branded player will tell you how that's not that impactful But they don't even go to win the game they just do annoying stuff like burn you for every card you play or gimmick lock you Half of their extra deck only fusion summons another dragon that fusion summons another dragon until Jade comes out
I run branded despia shaddolls 60 card pile. No thrust. Only 1 quem. Am I wasting 2 slots by running 2 veiler? In your opinion would I get better results putting 2 more soroner to make it a 3 of?
Alba lenatus has a useful summonig condition but the card itself is really underwhelming considering its supposed to be this all powerful fusion between mirrorjade and lubellion they could of at least made its stats 3000/3000 instead of 2500/2500 ik branded has enough tools and powerful shit as is but it always rubbed me the wrong way how alba lenatus the abyss dragon felt so underwhelming especially bc of how cool he looks (my favorite albaz dragon in terms of design so maybe im just biased)
Noone should buy this or any future products from konami until they stop ripping us off. I certainly will not be continuing to support their scummy practices.
Doesn’t the Buster Blader line not work because not only do Fusion Substitutes not work when banished, but Fusion Parasite can’t be sent off of Branded Fusion since Branded Fusion has to use Albaz as Albaz (thanks Konami) and Fusion Parasite can’t be a fusion material unless it’s replacing a named material?
I’m pretty sure you send Albaz and the parasite to make Lubellion and then shuffle back the Albaz and parasite to make the buster blader. You are correct though it doesn’t work from banished.
@@JMoreTCG in that case you can also use the hex dark sealed fusion as well. It doesn't work under shifter anyways. I think best option under shifter is light and darkness dragonlord
@@JMoreTCG you can’t send Parasite off Branded Fusion. Parasite must replace a named material and per rulings you cannot use a fusion substitute in place of Fallen of Albaz when using Branded Fusion.
Helps you dodge targeted negation or anything that targets, because on resolution the card is flipped down and cannot be targeted with cards like imperm/veiler/etc. plus it’s a board breaker since face down monsters cannot use their effects since they’re not registered as monsters
@@bhrispinigale5832 usually book of eclipse to help you dodge targeted negation but super poly can also work as a sort of jumpscare to your opponent when playing, but it has its downsides (super poly) it makes you discard first and takes up at least 1 extra deck space so I’d almost always take book because of its dual purpose
@@bhrispinigale5832 BOTH are good board breakers. Depends on what deck you are facing. I'd say main deck one and side the other along with extra deck cards to swap around if you want access to playing both.
@@galzo for arc light yeah, But it's a good effect should every single one of your consistency cards get negated and all you got is a Aluber on board, tho the dark law is 100% better than arc
Loved playing instant fusion in Lyrilusc before the support came out using an eyes restrict monster for removal before making the important plays was always a fun way to catch an opponent of guard
@@edgardoalbo8660 its a two card combo, access to both cartessia and aluber. Summon both, aluber get branded fusion, use branded fusion send mercourier and albaz summon lubellion, lubellion one mercourier two, mercourier add shrouded dragon, lubellion shuffle back albaz and mercourier for rindbrumm. Cartessia effect to fuse make ladd with shrouded and lubellion
this engine is too bad take alot of space to the point where i can't play hand traps, half of it is bricks, the field spell is too conditional to the point where most of my play test i couldn't even activate it
