You can just use the paranoid trait + berserker perk for full shotgun capability, if you’re at it, 4 morales + broken wrist + stage 4 cancer can help improve the shotgun mode drastically

Nuh uh best weapon is hand you can turn it into a fist for free melee You can also pick up items and use it without hands you auto lose Also it costs 0 salvage to craft because you auto craft it in the womb
