Great work in the chop… Been a fan of the Calcutta (shimano) for awhile. Ever have a shoulder impingement or a torn tricep from all the cast and retrieve???? Your boy is laid up . Solution… learn to cast and crank with alternate non dominant arm.😮

I had a ODM Genesis NXG-93 paired with VR50 to throw SP Minnows in the surf. Tip broke off from high sticking a fish😢. Back to my ol’ faithful VR50 paired with Phoenix Trifecta trx-s1007, cast that mofo all day

They can check a bag in any compartment that could contain a fish. They cannot open a compartment that is too small to house a fish. That’s beyond their authority if they are just searching for fish. It is essentially the equivalent of being pulled over in your car and the cop says I’m going to search your entire vehicle because I can. They can’t without probable cause or if you give them permission.
Yes I have caught many barred perch with it but it’s a little to much rod for perch it’s rated 1-3 oz that’s just my personal preference I like to use a little lighter gear when I’m targeting perch
