On my channel most of the videos you will see are about projects that I've done or are working on. The other videos are just a "spur of the moment" of random things happening in my wood shop or something out of the ordinary.

I know they may be out of style according to some decorators, but all the other cabinets in the house are double cathedral and I just love the craftsmanship. Two more questions : 600 psi fluid??? I get the 20 psi on the air side . But where are you getting 600 psi on the fluid side. I have the Kremlin pump... Are you reading inside #s on the Guage or outside #s. Im always lost when you say 600,700 psi on the fluid side. My Guage read 10,20,30 psi etc etc Do you put one coat of pre cat on after the vinyl sealer or two. Thanks in advance, love your videos.
Yes, 600 psi. Air assisted airless operates on the airless principle but of having medium fluid pressure if 250-1000 psi fluid pressure, with the need of some atomizing air of 10-25 psi. Your pressure is calculated by the incoming air to the air motor times the ratio Factor on your pump. If you have a 15:1 pump, and you set the air to 40 psi, you will get 600psi (40 x 15) fluid pressure. If you have a 10:1 pump, you set the air to 60 psi and you will get 600psi (60 x 10) fluid pressure. Each and every gauge is different, some read and PSI, and Bar, and some read and PSI, and kPa. Typically on the gauge they're color coded meaning that when it states PSI in one color the numbers will read the same color, and if the secondary reading is Bar, the Bar will be in a different color along with the numbers. Typically black and red is what's used. All the fluid pressures in these videos I've posted, are arbitrary based on specific coatings, everybody's settings may be slightly different and may need to be adjusted accordingly. For me the pressures I have stated work well for what I'm spraying, individual results me very. Thanks for the compliment.

Hi, do you ever have a problem with the air not goint through any of the Kremlin guns? I have inherited an old MX at my new job and the air line is suppling air just fine but when I pull the trigger half way there is almost no air coming through. I can barely feel with my skin the slightest present of air. I don't know how to address this as everything i can take apart and inspect involves the fulid, not the air.
Like you I am a spray & wipe kinda guy. I have been using acetone base stains for the long wet times allowing me to work larger panels such as a refer side. Can you give us some insight on spraying a large panel, can it be thinned if I run into a problem? I suspect the Milesi is a hybrid type & single stage,? I would run it through my Apollo HVLP 5 Stage... Thank You.
Yes. CA Technologies uses the standard 1/4" NPT fittings, so it's 100% Plug-n-play. Part three of this series (spraying the clear precat) uses a 14:1 CA Technologies pump with another Wagner Aircoat.
The practice of nailing a joint with 18g pin nails is a practice that is widely used in the industry. It serves as a clamp while the glue dries. This eliminates the need to have additional clamps tied up and doors stacking up all over the floor. I pin nail for stain doors only, fir paint I glue and clamp only for a 100% seamless painted finish.
Beautiful. Quick question, if finish quality was the only requirement, can AAA with wagner aircoat gun give equally as good results as high end compressor/gun combo? (I understand the differences in systems and how they work, their advantages and disadvantages, efficiencies etc, have good experience with compressor spraying, but never seen aaa finish in person). Looking at these 3 vids alone its clear you get a beautiful finish, just wondering what your opinion is on AAA aircoat vs compressor subject? Thanks for sharing.
All bulbs have a standard refeence number, and if I remember correctly, it used either an H7 or an H1. I will tell you this, I had those headlights installed for a lttle over a year and I hated them. I installed the Alpharex Pro Series with the Morimotto 2 Stroke 2.0 LEDS, and it was a world of difference. Unfortunately I now longer have the truck, so I can't go into any detail.
Thanks for the videos. Quick question, do you turn off the air to the pump and clean the nozzle or tip in between jobs? I am wondering how I should care for my new Kremlin gun. I teach high school woodshop and am in the spray room a lot at once, and then not in there for weeks at a time. If you have covered this in a video I would love the link. I am new to your channel. When you are sticking the rails and stiles, what is that fence your using to ride the stock against? I have a Powermatic 27 shaper and would like to find that fence as well. Thx
Thanks for the instructive video. I am starting to think about a chip collector for my 43-340 shaper and would like to see more detail of your setup. I have the standard delta/rockwell fence with micro adjustment and would like to keep it while still improving chip collection. Currently I am thinking of splitting the original fence using an extension threaded rod and positioning a metal chip collection box in between the two halves. Any thoughts would be appreciated
I use a air assisted airless and have trying the sherwin williams waterborne top coat. It is pretty thick. I seam to be getting an orange peel texture. I read an article that said I need to turn up my atomizing air due to the viscosity. Would you agree with this?
