Thank you for those kind words. I feel there might have been some people that wondered where I was. Life isn't the most consistent right now, but as the weeks and months unfold I'll make solid effort to come back to stream whenever possible.
I can no longer play these old JRPGs because the flashing effects during battles cause epileptic effects, even tho I'm not even diagnosed with epilepsy.
Hi, so I just got an Xbox and my tray is stuck. I find out if I give it a bit of a whack on top, it always opens. But I don't want to have to always do this. Do you think this fix would fix that problem? Also, I tried to put a needle originally into the little hole and it wouldn't work so I pushed it harder and it still didn't work. That's why I decided to give it a whack and that worked. Not sure why the emergency released didn't work though. Oh and lastly, where do I get the rubber bands from? Thanks for your time, look forward to your response.
If the tray cannot be opened, I would unscrew the console and remove the top for easier access. At that point, I'd replace the belt. You can take the old one into a hardware store and ask for a similar one. I appreciate the comment and your viewership. I hope to hear from you again.
@@hdrgbThanks. I find that if I wack the top a little when I press open, it opens fine. So I'm not sure why that is. Maybe I need a new rubber? Could that fix it?
I found these at a hardware store. I just went in with the old belt and asked for something similar. They're available on the internet as well if you look hard enough. Thanks for checking the video out!
It is one of the most memorable games in the Dreamcast library. It introduced me to a bunch of SNK characters and their respective games. Yes, the 2nd title is better, but there is more nostalgia for me here.
The 3DO version updates at 30hz internally and is a choppy mess. Completely intolerable compared to the real game. When I first saw footage of this version from a trade show on VHS before it was released, it took me less than a second to notice it. Why aren't people playing the game a decade+ into the 21st century noticing it? It's almost like you never actually played the real game and don't know anything about it.
Who cares about views? Why do you care? Why is there a dollar sign in a heart with the word "thanks" under your video? What are you doing ruining videos on the internet like this?
The animation in the trailer for "D" makes it look like the game was going to come out on the SNES or SEGA Genesis. Obviously "D" would become much closer to being photo realistic by the time the full game was released. As for "Flopon The Space Mutant", I prefer the U.S. version released as "Trip'D" simply because it doesn't speed up so crazy fast after about the 5 minute mark. Kenji Eno's games need to be remastered & physically re-released for modern consoles.
I'm glad it helped. Thank you for watching and the kind comment.

If I ain't wrong the Sega Dreamcast was the first console to port a fighting game arcade exactly as it is to console, a perfect copy. I would say the second console in doing so was PS2 with Tekken Tag Tournament.
Helena’s fight was on the demo for the Dreamcast. I remember losing countless times but I didn’t care because god, that theme with those violins just stuck with me through the years. All I could remember was a woman with blond hair and a red bow tie.
I am thinking of buying this model, but I would like to know if this model handles 240p…. I was looking at the manuals and I only see that it drives 480i and up. Could you confirm if it can be played at 240p games ?thanks in advance ! great video!
@@gorytechno480i is 240p....If you see distinct horizontal scanlines in 480i mode without jittering/flickering in the image then it is running a clear progressive scan / non-interlaced image (240p). The monitor/crt never directly shows on the screen that it is running at 240p. All consoles before the 5th gen natively run all of their games in 240p using composite, S-VIDEO, component and RGB Scart/BNC.
It's a great service, have fun with it! You can also check out our discord or the insignia one if you're looking to find some consistent people to play with.
doubt you remember me but a while back i bought a jp gdemu dreamcast from you like 2 years ago and you mentioned that i should check out your channel. i brought it to a meet up at my bf's house and we had a blast playing all the games on it. beat my first play through of sonic adventure 2 with everyone that grew up with one super nostalgiaing. just wants to say thanks for helping make those memories~(>w<)d
Wow, that's incredibly thoughtful of you to give such kind words and follow up all of these years later. I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy it for many more years to come, as well as find some value here on my channel. Feel free to say hi any time, and check out my links for my twitch, discord and other spots I'm active on the internet. Most importantly, keep up your positivity and continue to enjoy that Dreamcast. You made my day!
Just ordered Path of Neo can I have this problem but sometimes it just glitches when I hold my thumb against the disc drive it will keep opening and closing the my thumb blocks it and then it just starts working LOL but I like your method better I'm about to order new rings! Thank you brother❤❤
Mine randomly will open sometimes and sometimes it won’t but aslong as it still opens I am good but a simple tap on the top above where the disc drive is located usually works
This guys are a bunch of clowns! Don’t buy any console from this clowns, they are trash, I have to go behind their them fixing the garbage they sell, they have a eBay store from Canada,
Well, testing is a process of elimination. Try another TV set, or another scary cable, or find another way to test each piece one by one until you get results.
I honestly didn't even know that tiny hole was there. It used to be a real birch to open if it didn't have a disc in the drive. I still have that problem with mine. Now no matter what I do since I removed the disc, having forgotten the problem it just won't open at all so I'll take thos tutorial to heart Edit: been trying to open it with the emergency hole and it ain't working. What do I do now???
