I think Tokito can handle sparing both other Hashira at the same time because his mark is awakened, The other two probable want to see this, and Tokito saying thats hardly fair came off to me as a cute joke/tease XD
There is no official ranking in the Demon Slayer manga concerning how each Hashira are ranked according to their placement. There are only two things stated. Gyomei is the strongest (stated by multiple characters). Also indicated in the respect he commands from the other Hashria. And that Shinobu states she is physically the weakest being unable to decapitate demons. These are the only things stated in the text. The fans will rank the Hashira based on later feats, but this gets watered down based on personal biased. Officially the author and creater of the series has no ranking beyong Gyomei being number 1 of his generation.
Current ranking (in the anime) 1. Gyomei 2-3.Mitsuri/Muichiro 4-5.Sanemi/Giyu 6-7.Rengoku/Obanai 8-9.Tengen/Shinobu Last Ranking (in the manga) 1.Gyomei 2.Sanemi 3.Giyu 4.Obanai 5.Muichiro 6.Mitsuri 7.Rengoku 8.Tengen 9.Shinobu Note:There is no official ranking from author. This list I gave was prepared according to the discourses mentioned in the anime/manga, all the battles of the Hashiras and the extra powerup features they gained.
This is a great episode. I know a lot of people clown on it for that paper airplanes scene, but I think it's actually very moving to see how they're all acting together for a greater goal.
Agreed. It's easy to forget that these are literally children who have been thrust into a life or death situation. Seeing them build camaraderie in a youthful activity is a nice reminder of their humanity.
The people who clown on this episode for the paper airplane scene are a waste of oxygen and resources. Little children with the attention span of a goldfish. The TikTok generation. Character development and beautiful animation is what elevate the story telling before the next arc begins.
Training the Demon Slayer Corps is not intense enough for the Hashiras. It’s basically a walk in the park for them. If they want to improve and awaken the mark they need to test their limits. And they only way to do that is to spar against each other since the only people that can test the Hashiras is another Hashira lol. Hence Sanemi and Obanai having a match makes sense.
The kimono he’s wearing at first was his sisters. Then he’s spliced sabito’s to that one. So his kimono is a memory of two people that he lost that saved him
Here's a fact because of Giyu's personality. He never made friends with anyone or the other Hashira, though we know how he feels. Everyone hated his attitude, and I can't say I blame them, so if he isn't getting along with anyone, that's why
I love that Giyu's backstory is so present in his design! I enjoy this episode, I think it shows many of the strengths of DS's story telling. It's not super complex but very relatable and all the tragic or heartfelt moments are mixed in with some fun smooth brain Tanjiro moments lol Great video as usual! I can't wait to see your reaction to the other hashira
The Wind and Serpent Hashiras were so cool in this first episode of season 4 of Demon Slayer. My overall favorite Hashira and character in this anime series is, of course, Mitsuri because she's so cute.
Awesome! glad to see the reactions continue :D I love Inosuke's entrance so much haha, almost as much as I hate Zenitsu's(although it's very fitting for him) I missed it on my first watch but i believe the girls that are being kidnapped by the demons all look roughly match Nezukos description, so we can assume many demons are on the hunt for her. I'm not sure I'd say Muzan hates all demons, after all he was the one who created them and he needs them as spies and disposable pawns. He surely hates their weakness and they will become obsolete if he can survive in the sun but until then he needs them.
Ah! So they are looking for Nezuko... that makes sense. I thought they were just after second breakfast but that is more sensible for the wider plot. :) I feel a little that Muzan does hate demons.. or atleast he very much looks down on them. I wonder if he would continue creating them at all if we can survive the sun (we'll have to wait and see ;o)!
Hello, I will be your guide to the Chainsaw Man universe, I will answer your questions, clarify points that you may have misunderstood and note various details, without spoilers :). 1) From this episode, you now know that demons can restore their wounds by consuming someone else’s blood, by the way, Denji, due to the fact that he is now half a demon, can also restore his wounds by consuming someone else’s blood. 2) Regarding the unusual eyes of this woman with red hair, they are unusual for a reason and they have a meaning, but what exactly you will find out in season 3 :). 3) You may have a question why demons have such strange names, well, this question will be answered in episode 3. 4) When are you planning to release the reaction to episode 2?
Muzan can access the thoughts and senses of all demons, except Nezuko and Tamayo; he found out she survived the sun because Hantengu would've caugt a glimpse of her before dying. Later on while explaining his plans, he wasn't so much seeing her as mentally picturing walking off in the sun
what a great reaction to the finale! I was a bit torn on this season with a few too many cop out deaths and not the best story to fighting ratio, so the pacing just felt off a bit in the middle of the season. But it has some of the best fight sequences hands down :D and I did enjoy the characters a lot. This episode defnitely made up for a lot of the weaker bits. The fear of losing Nezuko was heartbreaking! It gets me every time ^^ Don't worry you'll get more of Inosuke and (for better or worse) Zenitsu in the next season. It's far less action packed than this one but still enjoyable imo. Major props to your editing! I didn't expect this hour long episode to fit into a <20minute reaction without it feeling torn, but you did a great job making it feel consise without letting anything important slip
Hey Max! Thank you for joining for S3 and your comments! I agree with you on the pacing and story/fighting ratio. It was still enjoyable on the whole and I am glad this final episode was such a strong closer to round it all off. Ah, and thank you! I was also a bit surprised that it ended up being 20 minutes, but I try not to cut out anything important to the plot/flow of the episode. :)
