I love music, especially piano. This channel is an outlet for hymns and songs that have been tucked in my heart and mind ever since I was a kid. Hope they’re enjoyed!
Hi Mary. I messaged you with regards to the hymn book you are using in this video, and some others. You were kind enough to reply, with details of where to find this book. Somehow I seem to have lost them. Would it be possible for you to send them again please? I have finally decided to buy it ,thanks, Campbell.
Here are the places you can buy this hymnal: livinghymns.org/product/living-hymns-blue/ strivingtogether.com/collections/living-hymns In this video I’m using the blue one, but get whatever color you like. Hope this helps!
There is no sheet music for the version I play in this video because I played it by ear. However, this song can be found in this hymnal: livinghymns.org/product/living-hymns-blue/ which is where I learned it as a kid.
The sound of the piano is very quiet and beautiful. ^^ I also use a Yamaha piano and I think it sounds better than mine. There's a Korean proverb that says someone else's rice cake looks bigger, but it's like my greed....^^
If you would like the exact one that is used in the video, click the link and scroll down to the second hymnal which is blue with no spiral. Hope this helps.
Your rendition is beautiful, one l would love to use for singing to my peop!e in nursing home....but it would be very awkward to change to such key on the last verse. Thank you for sharing your goft.🌸
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch; like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. 2 ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! 3 The Lord hath promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures. 4 When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we first begun.
On a hill far away Stood an Old Rugged Cross The emblem of suffering and shame And I love that old Cross Where the dearest and best, for a world of lost sinners was slain So I'll cherish the Old Rugged Cross 'Til my trophies at last I lay down I will cling to the Old Rugged Cross And exchange it some day for a crown In the old rugged cross, stained with Blood so divine A wondrous beauty I see For t'was on that old Cross, Jesus suffered and died To pardon and sanctify me So I'll cherish the Old Rugged Cross 'Til my trophies at last I lay down I will cling to the Old Rugged Cross And exchange it some day for a crown To the Old Rugged Cross, I will ever be true It's shame and reproach gladly bear Then He'll call me some day To my home far away Where His glory forever I'll share So I'll cherish the Old Rugged Cross 'Til my trophies at last I lay down I will cling to the Old Rugged Cross And exchange it some day for a crown And exchange it some day for a crown
