You can now turn that second cut piece into a board by cutting th edge off. I suspect it would be harder to cut without taking that outer strip off first. You’d then have to go back and line it back up, hold it in place and cut it accurately, right?
Exactly! Removing that outer strip first makes it much easier to cut the board accurately. It helps in getting a cleaner, more precise cut without needing to realign everything. Thanks for sharing your insight!

У нас в Мордовии , самые дешевые лесопилки , все в ручную делается , бревно нужно вручную закатить и закрепить на стапель . это все одному и распил Куба стоит 1000 рублей

У нас в Якутии лес грорит, а если человек спилил дерево его штрафуют , а сколько больного леса. Должна быть служба предлагать сельчанам 😢выпиливать больной лес для хоз построек и помогать с транспортом
