@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews Part of me is annoyed, the rest respects your sarcasm. I do hope that you have a good day. I assume that you won't understand what this comment says thus far so I'll translate to jive for you. Yo homie. I gots to respect the way you be trippin. Have a good one cuh.
I'll always have an unpopular opinion, if nothing else 😆. It's cool, but nearly 2 min of walking in the forest made me snap. They do that type of thing too much!
Haven't seen the new one yet, though of new movies I'm still only planning to hopefully get to watch Alien Romulus in theater (while otherwise I'll wait a few years to find most in DVD format on sale in due time.) But I saw the first film in the 90's and it was pretty good, and glad to hear the new version sounds good also. The original was interesting to me with how Bill Paxton played a more serious character, whereas he's mostly like Hudson in Aliens (though his role in Edge of Tomorrow was also more level then, I thought he was best as the character in Aliens.) The new actors for the new film I don't recognize yet, but seems like they've done well though.
@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews yeah, CGI has improved quite a bit. Certainly rendering times have with better computers, as like for Independence Day I think it took a few eternities to process back then. As for myself, I don't mind bad special effects as much, even 2011's The Thing was fairly good regardless of that and shows like Space Above & Beyond or Babylon 5 also had potato graphics but still were good otherwise. But yeah, sounds like Twisters is worth watching and I'll get around to it eventually.
🤣🤣🤣you killing’ me with the singing. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I wanted them to talk a little more about the shady dealings that was going on with the victims of the tornadoes.
Yeah! Tyler stalking her down to her mom's house was insane! I didn't care for that, but their back and forth at the beginning was cute. And Javi 🤦🏾♀️ 😒
I just found your channel and OMG! I agree with so many of your takes! Here are some of mine: 1. I believe everything Lestat says when he gets wistful or goes off-script at the trial. The dialogue Sam wrote for him is probably false, esp. in the beginning when the coven is trying to make Louis sound like a violent stalker. Lestat probably had to go along at first to make the coven think he was onboard so that he could get away with his asides as the testimony went along. 2. There seemed to be something going on with Lestat mentally. A couple of times he looked like he was nodding off in his chair, and he was swaying on his feet when Claudia was executed. 3. Shut up, Claudia! She is so unrelentingly hateful to Lestat, it amazes me. Here she is on trial for her life, and she has to get a couple more digs in, always trying to drive a wedge between Lestat and Louis. 4. Lestat’s apology to Louis was so beautiful! However, hasn’t he already apologized for this? I think that at this point, Louis and Claudia owe him an apology for poisoning him, slitting his throat, and leaving him out with the trash. 5. I think Lestat’s version of Claudia’s turning and the fight are true in as far as they add context to Louis’/Claudia’s versions. For example, during the fight, we didn’t see what went on in the coffin room, but we heard Lestat telling Louis that he didn’t want to fight like this and he was trying to restrain himself. There was also a giant dent in the lid of Louis’ coffin after that episode. 6. When Lestat gets back on script after his apology, there is a slide showing Santiago and his two girlfriends hanging off of the Eiffel Tower calling to Lestat to come to the trial
Lol, welcome! I was thinking about Sam’s script. I think it was more Armand trying to paint Louis as so nuts after seeing that Armand was down for Louis's death😡. I have to go back and see if I can zoom in to the first page of both versions of the script. But yeah, Lestat had to set the record straight a couple of times, and I believe those parts as well. All season, Lestat had a sway to him. I first noticed it when he was Dreamstat and Armand was telling his back story. I think he had a ton of regret during the trial. Honestly, hot take, I don’t understand why she hated Lestat so much! I really can’t stand book Claudia. 🤔 Real-time correction: She probably hated him because of the train jacking, but she hated him before that, and I don't get it. Lestat apologized in seasons 1 and 2! Louis and Claudia never apologized, and they tried to kill him! I was annoyed in episode 8 when Louis gave Lestat grief about going to Paris for the trial! I missed the dent in the coffin! I’ll definitely be rewatching s1 soon. I remember the slide, but I totally didn’t put 2 and 2 together-that was the news article they showed Daniel! 🤦🏾♀️😆
All three of them are toxic nutcases, they deserve each other, the good and the bad, hopefully in another 50 years they'll forgive Armand, and all three can live happily ever after, pissing off all the other vampires on earth instead of driving each other crazy, because lets face it, Louis shouldn't be left alone too long, Lestat is horribly lonely, and Armand will die of boredom without the other two, and hopefully Daniel will get to document it from a safe distance! 🤣
I kinda hate that but wanna see it happen so bad 😆. Season 2, Ep 1, when they were going back and forth about disregard! Their getting together would be amazing!
Lestat owned this season and he didn't even really have a lot of screen time🤔 Please continue to talk about the show, its truly worth it, on air and off!
FAAAACTS!!! Sam Reid is that guy! I'll never get tired of Dreamstat eating that paper! It's funny you say that cuz earlier, after Angela commented about the movie, I was thinking about how Season 1 had so many Easter eggs that were revealed in Season 2. I was thinking about talking about that 🤷🏾♀.
OMG, the word ashes triggers me now. I'm so happy Santiago got his! Yeah, it would have been great if Lestat did that. Especially since he seemed so affected 😔.
Do you remember in Season 1 Episode 6, Lestat was monologuing while on the piano 🎹 about hotsprings, Greece, and 'Those Who Must Be Kept' before quickly changing the subject. So Lestat was already in Greece, where he met the caretaker of Enkil and Akasha who goes by the name of Marius de Romanus a 2000 year old vampire who befriends Lestat. This is where Lestat with Akasha's permission feeds on her much to the chagrin of her consort Enkil who attacked Lestat but was rebuffed for doing so.
Right! OK. So 🤦🏾♀ The "Trial" just left that out? I thought it was weird that Lestat says he woke up from his 100-year nap in 1908, but he didn't meet Louis until 1910. I know travel took a long time back then, but dang.
What were the most significant plot developments in this episode, and how do you think they will shape the remainder of the season? Are you on Facebook / Insta? I'd love to connect and hear more about your experiences and insights! Let's keep in touch!
I've always been Team Lestat, so I'm just glad we closed the season out on a positive note for him. I hope that won over some folks who didn't like Lestat because of the fight in season 1. My info is linked in my About section. Feel free to message me.
