What size grapple is that 60" or 72".....?
@eightyopen
@eightyopen Месяц назад
It's a 60". These put lot's of leverage on the loader arms when you use them hard, I wouldn't go any bigger except if I was buying for a track loader or something.

My truck is also a 2017 hemi 5.7. As you can see, this video is 5 years old, we have a little over 100k miles on the truck now. I empty the catch can every time I change the oil. The catch can always has a bunch of real gooky looking brown stuff in it. I recommend it.

Hey great video thanks for posting this! I was wondering did the heading sensor pair up okay being that close to the motor? I had just seen other videos where they said that the instruction for mounting it said it had to be at least 2 feet away from the motor. Just curious because I am about to mount this motor on my tracker as well and love that that open ended wire is right there to supply power to the heading sensor. Less running wires through the boat is always better in my book.
@eightyopen
@eightyopen Год назад
Thank You! Yes the heading sensor works great. We have a few seasons on this setup now, works perfect.
@eightyopen
@eightyopen Год назад
*Update, we've got a couple seasons on this now with zero issues. Absolutely love the spot lock, I'll never have another boat without it. When you pull up to a spot on a lake and hit spot lock, the boat will settle in with the bow heading directly into the wind and the spot lock will keep it that way. Really nice on those chilly spring fall days, you can sit behind the windshield and fish out the back of the boat.

I have a lawn mower that wouldn't crank so I cleaned the carburetor and the crunk up and I started cutting the grass but half a strip down my yard it cut off and it repeated the same about three times before I decided to try to cut backwards and it worked so why can't I cut forward with that lawn mower?

I have a Brute 700 series briggs and stratton Mower with the same carb setup and I did exactly what you did and mine still runs but only for about 2 seconds and dies and sometimes it just sputters and trys to run then dies I think I may have a bad carburetor tho possibly
@eightyopen
@eightyopen 2 года назад
Hi Larry, some of these carbs have a small hole in the bolt that holds the bowl on, that allows fuel to pass from the bowl to that center passage. Take the bolt out again and look it over, might need to clean the hole out in it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Our push cub cadet string trimmer that has not been run since last year and is about 10 years old kept starting and stopping. So watched several vidoes and yours did the trick. We had no wiring like you had but saw a long bread wrapper and had hubby strip paper off and got it up in there and BAM it started back up and runs again. Saved us $$$$ and waiting for shop to get fixed. Thank you for making this video.

The primer button quits working a lot. On the mower in the video it doesn't work well at all, so I pump it fast about 10 times. Makes for harder cold starting. If you are handy, you can order an entire replacement carburetor off Amazon for around $14
@moparscot9271
@moparscot9271 2 года назад
Also be careful twisting the bowl around on the carb. That Tecumseh carb bowl is “keyed” with a horizontal line that should match up with the float pivot point.

Mine doesn't start or idle unless I hold in the throttle handle and dies as soon as I let go, it doesn't idle at all. Any idea why? I've cleared my jets they're not clogged, but before this happened my engine was idling up and down and started to cut out when in use. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment Tom! We are very happy with both the Prima and the V3. Also can't say enough about Tim's setup at Sure-Shot Archery. When the bow is set up correctly, like these are, the broadheads fly just as straight as the practice tips.

@@eightyopen Cool. I was considering the bobcat CT 2025 because they offer a free loader right now. I’m still kind of leaning that way but that’s only 25 horse and this is 37. It’s a whole different animal. If you don’t mind me asking can you give me a rough idea of what it cost? Thanks a lot!
@eightyopen
@eightyopen 3 года назад
@@theometzger2348 I purchased the 72" tiller as well as the 60" grapple along with my tractor, which requires the 3rd function valves on the loader, so added to the cost. You can build and price RK tractors on their website here www.rktractors.com/products-tractors-rk-tractors.php I did a lot of shopping around, and found that you get more tractor for the money with the RK. I believe these are the heaviest tractor in their respective classes. They come with standard features that you would pay extra for on other brands, like the rear hydraulics, and fluid in the tires for example. Most all of the tractors use the same Yanmar made engines.

Never do a quick and dirty take it off leave it out the right way and put it back together no shortcuts you need to take the emulsion tube and clean it out the right way
@eightyopen
@eightyopen 3 года назад
I appreciate the comment, but disagree. As you can see in my case, and the hundreds of people this video has helped, you don't always "need" to remove the emulsion tube. There is absolutely no value in removing the emulsion tube and cleaning it if it's not plugged up, at that point it's just over fixing. If the carburetor is so gummed up that this quick fix doesn't solve the issue, I would recommend removing it, and doing a thorough disassembly and cleaning, but that's way beyond the scope of this video.
