Do you still have this boat? I just picked up an identical one and I'm wondering how yours held up to the abuse. The one i bought is a 2008 but it looks great.
That's why I came here. Stupid videos. They make good paddles and really useless videos. I wanted to know if the adjustable length shaft could be stored in two pieces - I sort of discovered that it can when some knucklehead in his useless video briefly showed this while 'unboxing.' Is there anything dumber than an unboxing video?

My dog loves to get on it. He’s 50lbs and his claws haven’t punctured the durable material yet. I’m sure if he scratched it with enough force at the eighth angle on a seam he may puncture it, but when he gets off and on I just watch his feet and carefully guide him on and off. The ore ain’t too bad. Just make sure to put the polls all the way in before tightening._

It is safe, durable and so easy to transport. You will not feel "tippy" on this at all. I am thinking of buying another to have on hand when guests visit me at the lake. There is no heavy hoisting to a car top rack -- I may never use the hard kayak again. The only negative is that the paddle blades that come with it are too small. You will want to invest in one with larger blades._

It's fairly light, so it does get a little squirly when paddling, but it's not meant for anything more than casual flat water, so not a bid deal. Fairly easy to deflate and pack into backpack. I just bought that exact spray skirt for my Delta sea kayak. It fits, but damn it’s difficult for my old hands to pull that material. The skirt is currently stretched over the combing. I’ll use it on the river in a day or two, and comment how it works. Now how do I get out of the kayak to go inside?
