hopp.bio/muddy-ruttzz-overlanding My channel is all about outdoor adventure. That can be finding cool destinations, picking out great gear or getting a vehicle prepared to get you there and enjoy yourself or even build a cool mountain bike. Providing Value To Viewers RU-vid is best when it helps you get something done or you learn. I am trying to make helpful content that is also enjoyable. Started by Accident After retiring from 40 years in construction I wanted to do something completely different than I had ever done. With no background or experience in video I learned along way. I do all the filming, editing, and anything else associated with creating the videos. I really appreciate everyone who watches! Please subscribe and leave a comment. I try to answer all of them. Don't forget, The Best Is Yet To Come!
@ 2:20 Come on those are NOT even considered offroad trails, those are everyday roads out here in the AZ desert that i run in 2WD. Only time I've used 4lo was when i climb almost big sky looking wet rock walls and only time I've ever had to winch myself out was basically my fualt by going in a fine sand riverbottom that had a flash flood the night before and so they may seem dry on top these treacherous river beds turn into quick sand and my jeep sank up to the bottom of my doors when i got out i would almost literally sink to my ma drangonballz 😂 and the only anchor available was a young 9" round mesquite tree about 80' away at the bank i spooled out alomost all my steel cable out and used a couple tree saver straps joined together to give me the extra reach i needed but my old cheap smittyBuilt 9.5Klbs gen 2 winch pulled out my 4door jku out but the oddessy extreme deserves the credit.
Ok, I get it. I was just messing around with in the Gladiator mostly to get some video of it . That is when we ran across the Cybertrucks. Had a couple old friends and wanted them to have some fun. Thanks for watching. I installed a 2"Mopar lift on that Gladiator last week. It is a lot more capable vehicle now.
@MuddyRuttzz Don't take it wrong what i wrote. But jeeps with hemi control arms and a torsion sway bars and a small lift can almost do any trail with open diffs but if you have an LSD and a front locker you good but selectable lockers is best and get some beadlocks with a set of KO2 or KO3 A/T they are better for the long run and handle great compared to the KM3 when comparing cost to life ratio in my opinion
Hello there. I have a question: Are you concerned about damaging the tailgate? Do you think the weight is an issue? That is my only concern with my Bronco.
I installed tailgate reinforcement. I don't know a lot about Broncos other than I think they look very cool. Tailgate closed you will not have a problem. Tailgate open maybe? Bikes don't weigh much.
Hey Mike. I might give a fridge a shot some day. Especially if I get a great deal. I have the electrical on my Exventure Trailer already. Thanks for watching.
Realized stock tires were not a good look and a bigger tire would provide more clearance. I like the look of the steelies and they can be dollied out if you ding them. Aluminum will crack and break. More info on the wheels here: Why Are Steel Wheels The Best For Off-Road? (Steelies Setup Made Easy) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lAVv4gg9gLA.html
Draining the cooler is not helpful to retain the cold temps in your cooler. You are getting rid of cold thermal mass you cannot replenish. Draining the cooler is useful if you want to stock new ice and make room for new food, but that is not what You're doing here. If you don't want water floating around your cooler, then maybe freeze some water bottles or milk jugs or use ice packs instead, but draining your cold water will not make your cooler last longer.
Cyber trucks are REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid looking. Elon that was a severe risk but you need to fire whoever came up with that idea. People need a truck for a reason "WORK" and you might make more money making a vehicle for the commen people.
I totally agree with sticking with Mopar parts if they have the part you need. They're well made, and always fit. I'm getting the Mopar A pillar light mounts for my new 2024 Willys, but I'm going to use them as mounts for CB and Ham antennas. It looks like I still might be able to attach the lights to the side of the mount, since they have holes there.
The A pillar bracket is stout. I would not be surprised if you could easily mount other stuff on it. I like the Mopar lift. Geometry has been figured out and system has been tested. Waiting for the Mopar Bilstein lift for my wife's Gladiator to be delivered. That one I will install myself. Dorman Products are good too. They are OEM quality.
Awsome tent! I have a Soringbar Family Traveler 11’x10’ that I paid $3 for 30yrs ago. I didn’t want it at first but the salesman at the thrift store said I needed it & when he got down to $3 I took a chance not knowing anything about them. It was well used & Dad did some sewing on it where one of rods slid into. Also where I poked a hole in the roof thinking the poles went inside. Kirkham‘s gave me some canvas pieces to patch it with along with instructions on how to set it up. Eventually I bought new poles & tent bag but it’s the best tent I ever bought & my neighbor said he would give me $100 for it. I’m sure this tent is older than I am & made in the 50’s or 60’s.
That was a really lucky find and the fact you repaired it added to its legacy. I love my Springbar but I use the Roof Top Tent mostly now. Thanks for watching the video. Hope you enjoy more of my videos too. Happy Trails!
Population is largely concentrated on the coast. I can drive 50 miles south and see maybe 3 people all day on my mountain bike riding at Fort Ord. Pretty amazing how easy it is to find yourself alone in the most populous state. Also most folks would rather go to Disney than spend a day driving in the desert.
We saw a couple spots looked like nice snorkeling beaches on the east end of Molokai. They also have guided trips. There is a lot of the Island I need to explore on the return trip.
I got it from Backcountry. Had to modify holes a little to get it to fit. If you have the same fork it will work. Thanks for watching! Here is a link: www.backcountry.com/syncros-trail-fender#product-info

You got me thinking. I got this from the Jeep Gladiator Forum. "Nitto has a 37x11.50 tire. Kenda Klever has a 35x10.50. I think there's a Super Swamper tire that's 35x9.50. If you wanted a pizza cutter 33" you can get the 255/80R17. " I myself was torn between tires I got and the Kenda Klevers. I wanted a American made tire or I would have got the Klevers.

In California and probably other places the walk sign does not guarantee cars will stop. Pedestrians still need to stay aware for cars all the way across the intersection. I hope blind folks never have to try it alone.
