It's nice to see them performing a different song other than ones off the same set list they have been performing for so many years. Lets see more like this
IM sad i missed this, saw them at the docks around 2006, with live, it was fantastic. but seriously fans, let the band sing. I didn't pay to hear a thousand sloppy drunks scream the lyrics.
CS aint ready...aint been ready since the day CS cheated on Ross Childress! Worse, the lead guitarist is shit, and aint playing the lead correctly, fucking lazy bum!
Yes. Corgan sued them over "Shine". Corgan did an F bomb laced tirade against them, and a brief cover of Shine that is posted here on RU-vid. Disregard the dumb as chick who, for reasons best known to herself posted the denial above.
@@ladyboomer1765 Not being able to forgive is cancerous to our soul. It happened, there's no changing that. Ed has forgiven his ex wife and they're on good terms now, she was as culpable as Ross. No one expects them to be best friends, but carrying around that bitterness does no one any good.
@@ladyboomer1765 Yes, they have a son together, and if that's the reason he decided to forgive her, it's not true forgiveness. In addition, that son is either majority age by now or close to it, either way he's old enough to decide for himself to have relationship with his father, which thankfully he does. I know personally the power of forgiveness, I've had to forgive someone very dear to me, which wasn't easy, but I did. And I'm so much better off for it, even though I got pushback from her family and still do occasionally from one of them. As I said, no one would expect Ed to rekindle his friendship with Ross, but a video shot around 2015 of CS in concert illustrates in graphic detail of the bitterness Ed still carries after all these years. This is not a criticism of Ed, but as a man who professes to be a Christian, he knows the power of forgiveness. And if anyone thinks I'm being judgemental, I'll leave you with this one tidbit of very personal information.....at one time I was in exactly the same shoes as Ross.
@@danielhartin7680 Ross was a pretty high profile rock star. I don't think he was at a loss for female attention. I don't see how he thought anything good would come of it. It cost him his career and in the end he lost Stephanie to yet another musician. Karma, reaping what you sew, If they do it with you they will do it to you..all true
You definitely don't know what you're talking about and about Johnny Robb. Man, he even could be in Dream Theater, or Satriani or Vai band... I so love CS but to be fair, the drummer who you described as an awful player is actually overqualified to stay forever in CS.
No offense to Jesse Triplett but he ain't no Ross Childress. Especially on theis song, you have to do the finger tapping on the chorus, it just doesn't sound right.
Rob Billeaud agreed. Joel did the finger tapping too. I don’t love what Jesse does on this song in the chorus. The finger tapping makes it much better.
Definitely agree Rob. Compared to the video of this song from 2001 with Ross it's nowhere near as good. Childress was one hell of a good guitar player.
