The thing I found out: … Buy the highest quality item you don‘t care getting scratched at once. Because they will get scratched even just from getting side-eye. So the second cheapest goggles from a top shelf brand it was for me. Also with the most light getting through, because on sunny days it‘s sunglasses for me.
I ski the 183cm Brahma on the east coast and love it, but am very intrigued with the direction the Anomaly is going with a softer tip and more rocker for maneuverability in terrain other than groomers. Find myself ruling out certain trails off piste/in trees when riding Brahmas or just go grab other skis. Anomaly 94 has me interested as narrower waisted all mountain ski to bring out west to complement another pow specific ski for trips. Want to get an opinion on sizing. I’m 6’3” 215lbs know how to ski etc. the 189cm brahma just was not worth skiing, 183cm is much more enjoyable, but I’m thinking to size up for Anomaly to 188cm considering new flex pattern and rocker, but also maybe the benefits of new design are realized in the comparable 182cm. Let me know what you think.
No Salt Lake or Denver people there. Boise has its own Bogus Basin. So you're mostly skiing with the locals, who ski almost every day, so the skiiers at SunValley are very, very good.
