Each year before I put my Node in I sit with the video and set up node in my living room and review the videos instructions. Better than in the hot sun, kneeling on the ground, where it may be hard to read. !
found out that I had to keep lame short wifi password... can't see me standing at the control box slowly typing in 63 randomized characters. is that thing capable of wired lan?!
Hydawise compatible controllers are designed to connect to a WiFi network only. You might look into changing your local network password to something that's easy to remember.
Hi great video. Is the order of issues shown based on most probable? Also, does hunter make anything to stop the flow of water to any zones stuck open? No master valve is installed.
The outlet used works, I plugged something in and it works. The controller itself shows no display at all. Does it have a fuse that might be blown? If so, where is it located?
Agree with the many commenters how helpful this video is . Thank you !! We live in Oregon. Any suggestions for how many days a week and for how many minutes per zone to water grass to try to stop from going brown and not costing us and arm and a leg ?
Where can I find a wiring diagram for connecting the wireless solar sync to my Pro-C? We had our siding replaced, and this is not worked right since the sensor was taken down and put back up.
www.hunterindustries.com/irrigation-product/sensors/solar-syncr-sensor has the details. The instructions are different for a wired Solar Sync vs a wireless Solar Sync.
I can hear our valve has water flowing through it but does not leak water when solenoid is loosened nearly 5 turns, and the manual bleed screw does not turn on heads or leak water. Flow control is fully loosened too, solenoid was tested and works. I think there might be a clog in the valve but i took it apart and the whole thing was clean as a whistle. Im thoroughly confused now
Hi, does anyone have the information on how to adjust the heads for the prs 40? My installer did not leave any info and I need to adjust the reach and angles. I can not find this on their website.
Mine works as established communication again. Hold the spindle button and it turns off, sprinkles still ran in the rain. Does it take 3 days to figure out rain again, or can I pour water on sensor to check somehow. Seems to not “see” the rain but will shutdown per ops check.
I am confused on the points below. I am using App version 1.0.669 (the latest, asof June 12, 2024) with a Hunter X2 and Wand, with a rain sensor on an iPhone. I did not find the answers to these in this playlist. 1. In my app, there is no Naming a program (0:41). 2. In addition, there is a Preconfigured Schedule that I can change. What is this? Why is that page asking for a duration (it mentions 'this zone' somewhere in it -- which zone does it refer to)? This item does have a name area, unlike program. How do I use this Preconfigured Schedule? 3. I want to store multiple programs, like Normal Summer and Drought Summer. How do I make one program run and not the other? 4. I want to change the running time for each Zone based on the program (normal or drought). But bizarrely, the times are tied to the Zones, not the program (in my app, unlike in yours 2:02). In my app, there is no way to change the watering duration in the Program page. 5. When I click on Start the Program, it asks me to choose a program that I want to run. The programs have no name, so it is hard to figure out which to run.
Hunter Hydrawise controllers get weather data from a separate network of weather stations for accurate, local conditions. They will not connect to third party weather stations.
