*What a thoroughly dreadful piece. The awful head sculpts, the elementary spelling mistake on the jumper/sweatshirt, the piss-poor tailoring...I was contemplating buying this via pre-order, so glad I didn't in the end.*
@@danincarboniteNo worries mate. It looks marvelous btw. Well put together! I don't collect 1:6 but will try to convince Csaba to do Jeff Goldblum, The Hoff or Leslie Nielsen next. Maybe Gibson as Mad Max.
Looks class Dan. Been thinking of picking this up myself but the head sculpt was putting me off. Might take the plunge now on it tho. Thanks for the video really informative 👍🏻
The likeness is very good, and the expression great (arguably the thing which Sideshow do best with their 1/6 Clint Eastwood portraits). You're right about the hair, it makes the figure look like it was released over a decade ago. The stranding needs to be a lot finer, more shades of brown are needed, and the painting around the temples looks a little sloppy. I have the Blondie and Josey Wales figures. While I'm happy with them, there is always the feeling that they could, and should have been a lot better. Not only because of how expensive they are, but mostly because this is Clint Eastwood we are talking about, an absolute legend if ever there was one. Imagine what Inart would do!! Not only would we get much better hair, we'd also get much better materials across the board, potentially two sculpts, more accessories and fantastic, sturdy, weighty bodies.
Great video Dan 👌Just finished mine off a couple of weeks ago with Csaba headsculpt and I've got the Beverly Hills sign arriving this week by Seba Creations.
Great to finally have a decent review. I’ve been eyeing off getting this one. Look forward to the next collection tour. I’m also waiting on some cases.
@@danincarbonite me to,have a look on Burt reynolds action figure, they have a custom one especially made, price 250 ponds im getting have a look on line expensive but I'm ordering looks really good
Pale Rider is the better Clint Eastwood figure I feel which I own, the eyes on this one looks a bit off and the paint apps are to pale and not much detail.
The last shelf you have with Mr. Myers and Batman is probably the most mesmerizing shelf I have personally witnessed. It's expensive and captivating. Expensive in terms of space and cost, but boy does it show its elegance! WOW!!! Well done, Sir, well done! No one else can dare pose like you have, Sir. The fact that it strikes so hard and then keeps attention makes it the best I've seen I would say!!! No flaws, pure pristine! Safe posing to boot! Checks all the right boxes. Thanks for sharing! Much respect to you.
Goodness me, the difference that makes to the figure is outstanding. Genuine craftmanship on display. Dan "It just looks flawless to me" Have to agree. Before I thought the head sculpt was merely average, but with hair as good as that it elevates it to something superb. On a technical note, great job with those last couple of shots of her from 06:19. Excellent lighting, excellent focus. Very nice indeed. At some point I am going to have to venture into the custom head world. Hot toys only ever made two figures from a group of five characters and so if I want to complete the set then I'll have to have them custom built. That's scary. I know the prices can be massive, but I am okay with that. What scares me is finding the skilled people to do it. I suppose I'd need someone to sculpt the head and someone to paint it. And also someone to make the clothing, but that's a whole other issue. Do you have any advice or even people you could recommend, please?
