great choice ..i went with the adaptive ride height , not because I’m short but it makes it easier to get my leg over the panniers .. almost wish i had gone with the forged wheels as well as ive got wire ones that seem to get an awful lot of brake dust sticking to them ..im not a fast rider but i leave the bike in dynamic mode , with the dsa -2 ..rides like a magic carpet
I believe the only real complaint is the, increased, engine noise coming up from the steering column. Otherwise, it is the best adventure bike for 2024.
Dikke bike! Hoe bevalt het geluid met het volledig uitlaat systeem? Geen problemen dat je te luid bent? Wil dit ook op mijn 890r doen maar wil er ook mee reizen
The only thing I don't like about the look is the motor and gearbox should be black. I'm guessing they will do that as an update. I wish somebody would do a review of this bike with the factory hard cases. It's a great touring machine and it would be nice to see one set up that way.
I currently ride a Suzuki GT 1000. And now I've hit my '50s. I just feel like I want to sit back and enjoy the ride and relax and not worry about doing 150 mph everywhere, so I am greatly looking at the royal Enfield super meteor. It just looks comfortable. Fuel efficient. Easy going and looks like I could quite easily still travel a thousand miles on it and be happy. This is one of the better reviews and also it has some really nice cheese!
Don't sell us older riders short. I bought a '22 Enfield Classic 350 new in '22 and absolutely love it. That coming off an '06 CBR1000RR. Have more than 250,000 and 40 years on sport bikes and all of a sudden the smaller cc bikes are just more of a pleasure to ride. The Super Meteor will definately be my next bike. It's not off :) It's just the angle of the camera. TFT screens do not have the best vewing angles. If you keep looking at it you can see at least the gear number ;)
hahaha. Thank you! I have ridden about 14 hours in total in this bike. But I do a lot of reviews in a year, and ride a lot of bikes so I don't need a lot of time on a bike to get to know it's short term strong and weak points. I always recommend long term reviews or owner reviews to get good picture of a bike, although that takes some time with new models of course.
Im seriously considering one of these as a replacement for my FJR1300 but I've yet to see a review of it being used as a full-blown sports tourer with a pillion on board.
