Meet Kaye Wood. She was the star of Quilting for the 90's, Strip Quilting, Quilter's Toolbox, and Kaye's Quilting Friends for more than 20 years. Kaye retired (and has since passed on) but we bought her business from her in 2010, when her husband died and she decided to retire. Terrye is Kaye's daughter, and the owner of both KayeWood.com (formerly Kaye Wood, Inc) and North Woods Knit & Purl. All videos are original, were produced by Kaye Wood, Inc in the 90's and early 2000's, and continue to be popular on our website as well as our RU-vid Channel. Thank you for this quick and easy serger quilt pattern. In reading other comments I am sad to see that Kaye has passed away. I will think of her when I make these quilts.
Thank-you. Have you heard about leaders and enders, bonus quilts can be made a bit at a time, with cut pieces intead of using waste fabric to start and end off.
Bought this years ago finally going to try it! Best tutorial i have ever found. Wish there were more. Seems to be the only one. All the others have a gastly amount of templates... No thank. This is so simple. Amd practical. Love it !
I bought the ruler 3 years ago and never used it, thought was tooooo complicated, but... thank to this lovely Lady Terrye Now I know what to do, thank U
Огромная благодарность мастеру! Всё понятно и доступно. Я не знаю английский, но несколько лет назад шила одеяло по этому МК в подарок маленькому мальчику. С огромной благодарностью мастеру из России.
I have never sewn a zipper, always intimidated by it. Omg thank you. I purchased the pattern and watched the video, and it turned out amazing. My first purse and first zipper. I'm on cloud nine. 😊
I have spent literally days searching for some help joining a very complicated seam and the last segment of this video was the perfect solution. Great video (because of the great teacher) but these are solutions I have not seen anywhere else. I got perfect success the first time! Oh, how I wish I had seen this sooner. New subscriber and I cant wait to see what else is available from you. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, this was so informative. It's always easier seeing someone do it first. 😉 Can't wait to make one, I will probably do it random though. 😆
The comment about sewing on the inside of the sweatshirt answered my question of a need for a lining...very nice. I'm going to try this. You took some of the fear out of the project...
Kaye Wood has made so many contributions (be sure to see yer Y seam video). Bind it quicker by sewing the binding to the back, bringing to the front, and beautifully topstitching with an edge stitch.
