Watch normal amateur non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball! This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0, 4.5 and up to 5.5 with the pros. I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels, but we concentrate on the 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.
We record it with DJI Pocket 2 or 3. Nothing special about recording. The kitchen looks the best if recorded from the human eye level. The corner or back camera should be at ~7 feet high when possible.
That was a good line shot. Maybe different in tennis. But in tennis, i tempt to go line bc its the more difficult shot. Higher net and shorter court so more errors.
I think we are in the middle of big changes to be defined in terms of paddle materials and designs. Gen 3 to come (yes or no), titanium, kevlar. I have to change my paddle, but I'm going to wait for it to define a little
Forehand guy got drawn wide so his partner shaded middle. If forehand guy does a wide crosscourt shot like that forehand guy then has to move middle so partner can cover line otherwise down the riddle solves the riddle. What I hate is someone calling out their teammate befoee fixing what's in their own control
It's always dissapointing when content creators lie in their titles. I looked up these guys DUPRS. Only 2 are 5.0 . This is technically 4.5+. They really look closer to 4.25 though.
You should have mentioned that one of "not 5.0" is 4.947 :) And technically it is 4.7+. Scott (4.7) was solid 5.0 on DUPR, but has not been playing tournaments for a couple of years. But technically you are right.
Camera is following the ball too much. Can't actually see the plays. Just take a wider angle shot. We don't need to see the serve. Great plays though!!
Carlos doesn’t belong on this court. He likely has ADHD as he’s regularly looking at the court next to him and not really focusing on his own points. He’s also what I would call a developing player in terms of strategy. I’m guessing in tournaments he gets carried by his partner and picked on a lot.
@caseydog237 he is developing player, but he definitely makes less strategic mistakes than any player in red shirt on the court. For example, his partners stays back too much and too focused on resets (he is pretty good in defense) vs counters, does not punish poor opponents' shots as much as needed to keep them uncomfortable.
boo whoo, y'all are pathetic to waste your time to create problems like this, go to actual pickleball courts or where its allowed, not a tennis only complex. I realized that most pickleball players like this are older and have this kind of mindset though, "boomers" creating problems when you don't need to create them and ruin everyone else's experience instead of being decent human beings, disgrace to pickleball.
How many over heads did they give them what do they always do? Everyone tries to smash it you have time instead of smashing it deep fake the smash then just drop it just over the net so it hardly bounces with both player back at the base line expecting the smash they will struggle to get forward and even if the do they will just pop up another shot and but now you can hit it in behind them. Why everyone always smashes every overhead it’s not tennis pickle balls lose so much speed on the bounce it’s actually a easy return
No, it's not worse, it is just completely different. Worse or better is purely personal preference. Apparently at minimum for the US population pickleball is better as a sport to play considering the sport dynamics for the last 5-7 years.
This video honesty stunk at explaining this topic. Jumped from 3.5 to 5.0 and was completely all over the place. To better explain, you need to pick a rank, give examples of characteristics of that rank, and compare them to the next rank above and next rank below.
Demo'ed the Invikta Pro model today. Lots of spin and control. Could use a little more pop but some lead tape would help. Overall a solid paddle. Still like my CRBN 1X more though.
