The most important thing for PlanCo2 is to fix the actual game engine to only render what can be seen. If something is underground or hidden inside a built object there is no reason to waste processor power to render that since it won't be seen in the final product.
A perfect example is the emergency sidewalk paths in Jagerhorn. You used the bottom of a statue upside down and buried the statue in the ground so you could only see the bottom as your "sidewalk". But yet the actual game was rendering every statue even though it could not be seen in the final view.
Hey silv love the layout! Feels like a perfect combo of Taron and Volcano (and a little bit of maverick too?). The heartline roll over the station is just strait up gorgeous! Crazy seeing how far planet coaster has come since the Alpha days with Planet Coaster 2 on the horizon! If they fix the track piece transitions I might actually build some coasters lol. Keep up the amazing work man. P.S. You missed extending a footer at 22:00
Volcano the blast coaster was at kings dominion, it closed permanently in 2019, a launched wing coaster is replacing it, track can already be seen going up, they have the first element up currently as well as the launch.
It's so easy to remember tho! A dive loop is a half loop that you *dive* into - meaning that the loop is the second part of the element, the part which brings you back to the ground
What the game needs is terrace houses as low density units. The terrace or row housing currently in the game is a higher density than what most terrace housing in the UK is.
Its crazy how long you can still talk about the supports. I would have been like: „yeah, next I‘ve build the supports“ and thats probably it😂. For me you dont need to show the whole supportbuild, I liked it just the way it was in this video
by far one of my fav channels ive come across lately, beautiful beautiful beautiful watching you design and explain the process. absolutely gorgeous work
NIce video!! Why are you building the coaster with short tracks and then smooth?? I used to build with long tracks and smooth to save time. Do you do this to make the roller coaster ride smoother? Thank you Silva!!
You know you want to put another coaster in the park. With a segment flying through a narrow market street. And an old fort. jk. This is such a great series, though!
Just visited 6 flags Adventure America (the jersey one) yesterday and somehow planet coaster came up. Having done some new rides at 6 flags - and having seen a sequel announcement I wanted to check out RU-vid. Holy $#*t I remember watching this channel years ago for planet coaster college but never appreciated the craft and care - about to binge 50 coaster series because this is like watching a master class (Jaegerhorn was breathtaking)
I saw the preview image of the video and i was like. hmmm lets see if silv mentions tornado in madrid when he visited last year. And yup hahaha It does look super cool right now!
I never thought I would hear Silvarret draw inspiration from my local park. Greetings from Madrid! pd: we always want to see how you make custom supports
That is awesome ! If you want my trick to remember which is a dive loop and which is Immelmann, if you dive towards the ground into a loop, well it's a dive loop, if not, it's not :p easy right ? Anyhow! Always a pleasure to whatch your videos as always
I have also just got back from riding an Intamin Inverted coaster called Tornado - the Särkänneimi one you mentioned you will miss on your trip. Love the Taron style idea! 🤩 Would like to see Intamin do more standalone new gen inverts, other than the only one they’ve done that duels with the sit down one in China.
@@Silvarret oh good then. I still hope for even more flatrides, coasters and slide types 🙏🏻 Cant wait till it comes out! And Silv, I know for sure, you will do amazing as usual!
Why not create a quick layout first w/o 4m method to get the elements in and get the feel right and then deleting piece by piece to replace it with 4m method? Just curious or doesn’t that cut any time at all? Coaster is awesome!
It probably takes more time in the end! It'd be difficult to reconnnect pieces afterwards and keep the shaping right. So I think settling for trial and error is easier after all if your goal is a smooth flowing layout.
