I am the Director of Music Ministries at a Methodist church in Chicago. As an African-American I am insulted, horrified, and saddened when I hear my own people use the "n" word, so imagine my outrage at this video. Granted, the "n" word is used in today's culture; however, its origin is deeply rooted in racism. One of your supporters said the word is okay to use, because everybody does it. I will not waste time pointing out the stupidity of this argument. The wife's performance was tolerable, almost validating this vid as a proper parody, but then SHE spewed out this horrible word. As a church staff member, I have been trying to reach out to potential members too, but never by recklessly insulting an entire culture.
